  • I agree with missiontofitn. That's what worked for me. Quick would be wonderful but not realistic. Figure out healthy foods you like to eat. Take your new baby (congratulations!) out for walks or carry him/her around the house as you do things. There is no quick fix, but if you take it one day at a time, you'll get there.
  • I had chicken with a tomato/onion glaze, broccoli with a little butter, and a sweet potato cut into fries and baked with chipotle seasoning. 379 calories of yum!
  • 5'1" and went from 151 to 118. There aren't many before pictures, but I am holding one in my profile picture. I reward myself for 10 pound losses. My first 10 pounds was a pair of ballet flats (I'm obsessed with them), my second 20 pounds was a Lululemon jacket, and the last 10 pounds was some workout shirts from…
  • Do what you can and push yourself to do a little more of the DVD each time. I did the Couch to 5K program to start running and that is how it works--you gradually do more and more. Just keep pushing, take it a day at a time, and you will make progress. Good luck and keep up the good work.
  • Think of Dory from Finding Nemo and "Just keep swimming." What you are doing is working, so keep on doing it. Find something positive to focus on besides the scale and be proud that you are making it work. You'll get there!
  • (Forgot to quote, so here is what I was replying to--"At least you'll never have the problem where your waist fits a size 4 dress but it won't zip up past your still huge boobs. wtf body..." Yeah, that's me too. Size 5 and 34D. And the last of the weight is coming off my collarbone instead of the remains of my jelly belly!…
  • I have been buying new clothes as well, but not too many, as I had plenty from my way up the scale. However, I have laso been buying shoes like crazy, which I cannot entirely attribute to weight loss...
  • I look thin in it and it is a good picture of me. Plus I am stuffing my face, which amuses me. This is after about 25# lost.
  • Hi! Your info (like your diary) defaults to private when you sign up. No one can see what you eat or how many calories unless you change the setting. Yes, you can see your sodium consumption. In your food diary, you can click on the pie chart, then the list icon at the top of the page. Also, on your home screen, you can…
  • You can add me as well. I have lost and regained a few times before. And I can totally relate to stress and eating! Don't be so hard on yourself. Life happens. All you need to do is start. Take it a step at a time. Don't focus on 125 pounds. Focus on smaller weight goals and celebrate them when you get there. Set fitness…
  • Your torso and belly look a bit thinner and you look nicely toned. Running may make you a bit thinner, but you are looking good. Congratulations on the hard work!
  • I'm 5'1" so I really like “Though she be but little, she is fierce!” ― William Shakespeare, A Midsummer Night's Dream
  • I do a lot of fruits and veggies, because you can eat a lot and not spend a lot of calories. I eat around 1250 calories and can usually manage not to be hungry. Your breakfast sounds like a good number. I usually have either Kashi Go Lean Crisp mixed with yogurt and a bowl of strawberries (6oz) or 60g of oatmeal mixed with…
  • Staying on track with the gym and not missing a workout. Also staying on track food-wise until Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, not guilting over holiday gluttony, then getting right back on track today.
  • I'm 43, no children who don't have fur (but one who does!), and a husband who eats totally differently from me. I'm not big on cooking, so I tend to do quick, simple things that don't require a lot of prep. I'd love to meet new people, so friend me if you're interested.
  • I'm 43, no kids. I have recently started running and am working my way up to 5k. I also do Zumba and walk. I'm a librarian, so reading is a given. I also like to travel, shop, and watch Bollywood movies. I am toward the end of the weight loss part of my journey, but want to stay motivated to eat right and exercise.
