About a week ago, my neighbor across the street came over and wanted to know EVERYTHING I am doing to lose weight. The day before my dry cleaner asked that I write everything down that I am doing because 'I look so great.' The neighbor couldn't believe I would tell her everything. Lol.

Thank you all. I have been anxious to fit into my size 14s. I just have to be grateful for the additional 1/2 pound I have lost. I weigh myself everyday, but almost never measure myself. As of today, I am 1 inch less here and 2 inches less there. So eventually it will all come together.

I am taking a B12 vitamin in the morning and another noon(ish). This has prevented me from feeling tired all the time. I agree with the sodium. I drink chicken broth 2x a day. One at 11am and one at 3pm. Let us know if this works for you. I wish you well.

My biggest obstacle is putting other's needs, wants, desires before my own. I don't get angry often enough. So, now I'm angry. I am angry at myself for allowing it to happen. This sounds horrible. I am so sorry to hear about your working conditions. Document all actions, save all nasty e-mails. For your self-esteem, start looking for a new job. Exercise is a big boost for emotional well-being.

My Ah Ha moment came when I realized there was and end in sight for completing a doctorate in education. I successfully defended my dissertation on August 8th. I have lost 43 pounds so far and I will participate in the graduation ceremony at the end of October.

When choosing a school for your child, look very closely at their nutrition plan for lunch and their nutrition education. Being aware is the first step. There is a great deal of support and information on this site. I wish you well in your journey.

I eat about 3 meals and 3 snacks. Typically 1 protein shake in the morning, lean meat or fish with 2 veggies for lunch, a protein shake for dinner. My snacks consists of broth in the am, broth late afternoon and a hundred calorie snack a couple of hours before bedtime. Sometimes I switch lunch with my dinner. And 1 piece…

Oh, but tomatoes do increase uric acid. I am borderline on the gout scale. Looks like I will have to find other fish soup recipes.
