Arms, legs, and face but would've preferred my abdomen lol...guess I have to keep going

You mean the plan isn't eat everything in front of me?? Yeah well I have to eat at maintenance a day or two not to become homicidal....but other than that I ride it out waiting for my weigh in when it's over and I see the water weight dissappear...it's lovely :)
-
Oh yes...my DDs were with me when I was at 110lbs....these babies are here for life so I just ride it out. Everything else will go *hopefully* and they will still be sitting right there. The only thing that has ever fluctuated on me was my band size :)

Oh man...soy sauce does it to me every time!

I started working out and logging again around March 6th...I saw very small losses up until this week...suddenly I've dropped 3lbs this week alone ....I only have 20lbs to lose so honestly I was not expecting that big of a drop in one week. It just took that long for my body to drop the water and show my real progress :)

I eat on point 6 nights a week....I may have 1 cheat meal a week...if I do I still log it and try to keep it reasonable. I typically fast the day of to save extra calories. May not be the popular thing to do....but fasting the day of helps to keep me within my limits.

You have described my husband and brother...so I've been surrounded my whole life by naturally thin "no matter what they eat people" *insert eye roll here* so what I did.... I started cooking dinner...the only meal my husband and I share....it was hard at first because I had no idea what I was doing, but once I got a few…

Thank God my husband is supportive of my efforts....not only does he eat what I cook for dinner...he'll remind me of my goal if I reach for something off target. He is not naturally skinny but he respects my journey and will jump aboard when he feels ready.

Oh well for me there are a few days.... PMS....that cause me to want to eat anything in front of me...luckily I find any weight gain doesn't stay long. Overall breakfast is a huge no no for me diet wise. I get up at 5:30 drink coffee but don't eat anything until 10:00am-10:30am. When my students have snack that is when…

I love hitting at least 10k steps a day...I'm a teacher so I hit 7k before I even get home for the evening. Honestly though some of these responses have me wondering...is it a waste of my time? If I pace around my house for the evening to get those last 3k steps...do they not "count" as exercise? I don't plan on giving up…

This sounds interesting, but I've never heard of it...off to google intermittent fasting

I just want to give you a big hug because I KNOW exactly what you are feeling and desribing. I developed an eating disorder towards the end of high school and it flourished in college. The only reason my weight ever went up was due to my pregnancies. I had made a promise to God that if he blessed me with a child I would…

Awesome job! I have similar stats so this gives me hope :*

I love my fitbit...it definitely gets me motivated to move more. I won't go to sleep until I've hit my steps most days. I like that little extra push in the day.

You look amazing! Good luck with your next endeavors!

Awesome results! You look great!!

Fantastic Job!

It is definitely a challenge for me too...I managed to convince myself for years that I just didn't need as much water as others lol...I KNOW this is not true. So as a teacher I carry a large cup around with me that I keep filled. I know how much water fits in the cup and I drink between subjects. I still do not get as…

Well I was always a weigh yourself everday kind of gal...unless I was pregnant. However, in the past I had an eating disorder and I'm feeling it rearing its ugly head at me with each passing day ( this is my lot in life)...so I have decided to knock off all the weighing to stop all the obsessing. Weight will naturally rise…

Whatever happens don't beat yourself up...I had a bit of chocolate myself and went slightly over calories today...however yesterday and the day before were under. I'm on 1200 a day and yes when trying to eat back exercise calories there are days I don't hit my total. In the end it will balance out. Truthfully if I don't…

This thread was so full of awesomeness...and failure...can't wait to see where this one lands :drinker:

Oh My!! This is wonderful! Congratulations on your amazing effort. Reading this story has made me realize that I have absolutely NO reason to complain about wanting/needing to lose weight. Thank you for this gift!

I came back and read the rest of them too...just can't look away from this one

sounds awesome...thanks!

I'm in week 3 of TBR... its hard for me...at least the upper body exercises are quite challenging...but the inches off of me can't be beat.

I'm doing JM Total Body Revolution...its kicking my @$$ but I'm loving it! I like 30 minute workouts that are hard. I've had great success 3 weeks in so far!
-
yes, yes, and yes! I akways believed I didn't need one until I got one...and it has been a game changer for sure. It may take me a few extra minutes to plate my food but I love it!

Don't give up! Give it some time. I'm sure there is just something that needs tweaking. If you don't have a lot of weight to lose it may take a couple weeks for your body to adjust. I typically eat back 50% of my calories burned...some days may be more...but thats the average. I wear a HRM...not sure if that makes a…

I'm so glad you posted this! I'm in week 3 and this was just the little boost I need...I have already lost 6 pounds and I am thrilled with the progress! You did GREAT! Thanks for the motivation!

For me the best way to circumvent this thinking is to plan ahead and not always put myself in temptations way. Do you bring your lunch pre made? I find if I bring my lunch I am much more likely to stick with my plan. All food is food...not good or bad. The problem comes in when training yourself moderation. You will have…
