I am up 2lbs since 12/20....I'm not worried though....I always take a diet break this week and get back to it after New Years ;)
-
I know I'm not a senior yet, but I do hope I get to be and @middlehaitch I just have to say that you look awesome and I hope to look this good in bikini one day <3

First off you look awesome and I love your style of dress...it reminds me of my own wedding dress ;) Secondly...Strength training has really changed the look of my body...I can't say weight because the number on the scale has gone up 2lbs(probably water) but I now see definition in my legs and arms and obliques just from…

When I first got my charge it was high calorie burns...but back then I wasn't counting calories just counting steps. After a few weeks it got better and more accurate and I eat what it says and lose weight accordingly :)

Merry Christmas from New Orleans...I'm just glad it was cold out today!
-
I have some loose skin on my stomach...three pregnancies, the last two close together, plus weight gain on my smaller frame did that to me. It's not terrible though and it sure beats diabetes staring at me in the face (runs in the family, plus I had elevated glucose levels with my last pregnancy)...I may not have the…

I needed to see this today as I was reflecting on my past year. When I started 2017 I just wanted to not be overweight anymore...which I successfully accomplished in May/June...then I decided to reach high and drop another 10lbs to be back at my lowest pre-baby weight...this I did not accomplish, I've maintained with a…

Ok so I'm off from work now through the New Year, but I honestly use this time as a mental break from dieting...I eat and drink and be merry and then I'm back at it right after New Years...I've been doing this long enough where I know that as long as Christmas treats don't turn into New Years treats which then don't turn…

Not sure if it's been mentioned...but if you can access to youtube...hasfit or popsugar is great, been using them recently....beachbody if you can afford to pay for it...or Nike training club app for free on your phone. I've used them all to help with my weight loss efforts

Be honest with yourself and MFP...weigh your foods (any food you eat...I'm a grazing snacker personally) and log them, follow the guidelines MFP gives you...baby steps. You can do this!

Ok...so first off I've read every...yes EVERY comment of this thread and it's been a great read...the good, the bad, and even the ugly :D Now to actually answer OPs question... I was an over weight child and an anorexic teenager/YA. I met my husband at 15 and we've been married for 10yrs as of 01/03/18... he married me at…

I had to start working out just to start seeing some "pulling in" of my waist...I've always been box shaped there even when I was super skinny...so this time around I've added in resistance training overall and I'm feeling a bit more optimistic. I've had a setback due to falling down my stairs (I was too damn excited over…

Great job so far! You know the drill already, I have no doubt you will succeed :)

I've only ever successfully lost band sizes, but not cup sizes...I find my back to ache too and wouldn't mind a reduction as well. Good luck whichever way you decide to go :)

Shots....Shots...Shots of vodka or any clear liquor are a go to for me :D
-
You are doing fine...the worst thing you could do is give up....it takes my body weeks (yes, freaking weeks) to drop water weight after I start a new exercise program. Stick with it <3
-
Awesome job...you look amazing!
-
That's one of my favorite quotes...it helped me a lot in the beginning....and it was pretty accurate :D It always takes me a few weeks to drop water weight when I start exercising...I'd say 4 weeks to see consistent results in myself
-
I need to do this too :)

Starting on December 20th at 10:30am I'm officially on Christmas break which starts off with my school's Christmas party....it's catered with an open bar...that is the official start of my merriment and I don't return to normal living until January 3rd when I return to work...basically I eat all the foods and don't stress…

Too add on to your ideas: A food scale...bath salts for achy muscles after the workouts...hand held massager would work too...copies of any healthy recipes that fit her plan you may have around...low cal snack options. I would have loved any of that when starting out, hell even now I'll take a gift basket like that for…

Give it time...when I first started running my weight didn't budge for weeks! It was just water weight and I know this now because I had a large drop in weight when the time came. Once my body stopped freaking out about my new exercise routine the weight came off more consistently with weekly drops. This has happened all…

:s that'll do it for me *gag*
-
I used to do these exercises as a young teenager...I had found my mom's vhs' and would do this after school :D
-
Yes it counts! I lost a lot of weight in high school from daily random dance parties in my living room with my best friend....nothing choreographed about it :D
-
Mom to 3 boys here (8yrs, 4yrs 2yrs) I have no willpower :D...what I do have is determination. I hated feeling sluggish and forced myself to workout just so I could have the energy boost after (this is typically done after work, at my house) I cook while my oldest is doing homework...I will help him study while chopping…
-
Give it time...Stick with it and you'll see the results

You don't owe anyone an explanation, but I understand people will question (they mean well in my case). I have co-workers who question my eating habits...I just explain that I'm losing the last 10lbs and leave it at that...do I owe them that explanation? No...but it makes it easier on me to explain it that way and move on…
-
I have a co-worker who unscrew the cap and pours it over her food...because ya know...0 calories :/

Well if you're looking for fast you could use low cal salad dressings for a variety of veggie dippings....I prefer to roast my veggies (broccoli and cauliflower usually) in a small bit of olive oil, garlic, and parmesan cheese
