I was feeling it as I read your story and looked at your face. Amazing amazing job! :drinker:

I am (I believe) holding it like the picture on the right. I need to get some vid, so I can be sure. I started out like the pic on the left but as the weight got heavier, that started hurting my neck. When I beefed up my pad, I did notice that the bar felt "wobbly" and I didn't like that.
-
I should mention that my "pad" is an old baby blanket wrapped around the center of the bar. I realized it is not all that padded. I just beefed it up a bit and it was a little better. I will try to get some video though as well.

Great job! We're coming from and going for very similar numbers. You look great!!

How about Doritos? (just one serving as a snack and not a bag as a meal)

Undies were the last thing to need changing (so to speak  ). First it was bras, then shirts/pants and then undies. When i woke up one morning and they were practically backwards while I was still in them I figured i could jump down a size

Serious success right there. :drinker: :flowerforyou:

This exactly for me. My advice is to take lots of pictures for comparison. What you can't see in a mirror, you can always see in a picture.

Yes! Awesome!! :flowerforyou:

Cutting back is the same as deprivation for an addict, and sometimes it can feel even worse because as soon as you finish that first portion, you immediately want more, but you can't have it. Deprivation! Anytime I ever tried to cut back on soda, I immediately began to crave it more. I agree with your sentiment in general…

I was raised by a serial dieter in the 80's. I decided I hated dieting by the age of 12 (yes, I had been on many by then, and I was not even overweight) and I thought I would never be able to do anything about my weight after that so I never even tried dieting again... ever. I gained weight every year of my life steadily,…

MUCH respect to you. :flowerforyou:

Still working on it, but when I look down and see only boobs and not boobs and a belly, I am pretty thrilled. ETA - Been on a calorie deficit since September 2013. Been lifting weights since December and lifting real weights since January, and I have already seen a difference.

I hear ya. I would also REALLY love to see that number go down. I have lost only about 5 pounds since the start of this year (after losing 25 from Sept- Dec)...BUT.. big but, since the beginning of the year I have shrunken out of another round of smaller clothing and people keep telling me I look great and asking what I am…

People are idiots. Don't take it to heart. Next time you see her tell her you have a friend who likes really stupid people and he has a major crush on her. :flowerforyou:

My thoughts exactly!

I like water but I also like soda water with lime juice (and vodka if I am feeling that way). It's actually pretty yummy. Tastes like Sprite but better.

Children grow up and move out if you've done a good job as a parent. He should be proud! :flowerforyou:

I think banana would be a great addition to my oatmeal PB shakes!

I have created something pretty tasty from my yucky chocolate powder (also forget the name). 1 scoop yucky powder couple handfuls of ice 1 cup of milk (choco is great - white works too though) 2 small oatmeal cookies 2 tablespoons peanut butter 400 cals +/- PB and oatmeal really mask the flavor of the yucky powder.

For the same reason poor people want to know "habits of the wealthy", people who struggle with weight want to know what those damn fit people are doing.
