I don't have IBS, but I do have IBD (Crohns) I'm on some heavy duty meds and in remission, neither of which have any effect on what happens if I eat badly. So yeah, I'm trying to control things through diet too. My triggers I've found so far that I avoid 100% are gluten, oats, and meat (all types/forms), and I try to avoid…

Did you log everything you ate? Just curious because some of the days in your diary only have 800 for the whole day. If that's all you ate, plus worked out, of course you didn't feel well.

Rich Roll is a vegan ultramarathoner too - amazing!
-
Try Vega, it's the best vegan option I've tried.

The hardest part is finding all the hidden sources of gluten - gravy, canned soups, rice Krispy cereal, soy/teriyaki sauce, salad dressings etc. and finding replacements for them, or figure out how to make them yourself. I try to stay away from GF replacements, (but with 3 kids also GF we do buy some). We make lettuce…

I use ener-G egg replacer in baking, it's worked well so far.

My kids aren't paleo, but they are 100% gluten/peanut/dairy free. To make lunches easier, we prepack quite a few different things (in proper serving sizes) so we can just grab and pack them. We have things like mini rice cakes, air popped popcorn, quinoa crackers, pretzels, nut free trail mix, apple sauce, homemade granola…

Dairy free here, myself and 2 kids...with the exception of the occasional pizza lol. We rotate between coconut, almond and soy milk and use coconut yogurt. There are lots of coconut/soy/rice ice cream treats to replace ice cream, and we don't use it but lots of people like daiya cheese. Canned Coconut milk can be used to…

If you want to try Paleo, then try it. You dint have to eat mammals to be paleo, you can do it with only eating fish/poultry, which you already do. That's not a huge leap. What will be a big change is that paleo cuts out dairy/soy/legumes/peanuts/corn and all grains. No relying on carbs to fill you up, it's pretty much a…

Sunflower seeds Because.....I was hungry and they're tasty.

Will she eat wowbutter? It's a peanut butter replacement made from soy....I've heard it tastes like PB. A wow butter and jam sandwich might be tasty. Crackers, fruit, rice cakes, beef jerky, dried apples, veggies, dry cereal. Enjoy Life brand is all nut/peanut/dairy free. They make cookies, granola bars etc. and Oreos!!…

I don't think the weight gain is the cause of your allergies, it doesn't really work like that. I do suggest you see an allergist to have testing done to confirm that you are allergic to those things, and that it's not something else going on.

No IBS, but I have IBD (Crohn's), so I get it. Endless bathroom trips, nausea, stomach pain etc. I can actually eat small salads once in awhile, and fruits though. No gluten/oats at all, limited dairy, limited grains, limited nuts/seeds, no meat, eggs are ok sometimes, nothing greasy/oily, no corn...I have a list of about…

I read a post about this before. The two common reasons were to cut calories - less bagel, less cals. The other reason was to stuff the bagel with.....whatever it is you stuff a bagel with. Either way, it's a total waste of a bagel.

We're you really really hungry by lunch time? If I wait too long to eat i get incredibly nauseous. Or if this was a one time thing maybe you're coming down with a bit of a tummy bug?
-
I would eat it. They went out if their way to specially make it, so you might as well enjoy it.

Our house has 3 levels of gluten lol - my son and I are Celiacs, so 100%, my daughters are intolerant, they eat around 90% GF, my husband doesn't have any issues so he eats all he wants. I do all the cooking, and unless we are having pasta or pizza we eat a GF dinner, but I try to make naturally GF meals. Meat/veggie/rice…

I really enjoy it. To me it's incredibly relaxing. I just do it at home though, not in a class.

I was really sick when I cut out gluten so I had lots of positive changes. My joint pain/stiffness started to ease, (I couldn't raise my arm above my head at my worst) the brain fog and dizziness went away, diarrhea didn't stop (other issues going on) but I was finally able to control it through meds, my awful mood swings…

I've heard good things about SCD (specific carbohydrate diet), GAPS....not sure what that one stands for lol, and paleo. I have Crohn's and Celiac, but besides eating gluten free, I don't follow any diet. Most of them center around meats/nuts/eggs/veggies....all big no nos for me personally.
-
It could be the food.....but probably not gluten, since you didn't eat any? Unless you had soy sauce on your rice that contained it?
-
I get monthly injections, but only because I can't absorb it any it her way, I'm missing that part of my intestine. Like everyone else said though, maybe get it checked before you just start taking it.

And try not to eat your iron rich foods with dairy products, it prevents the iron from absorbing. Iron pills are so hard on the stomache. If you do end up having to take something, try liquid iron. It's far nicer on the system.

Pork loin in the slowcooker, with a big salad and.....rice if my husband wants it.
-
Will he eat dairy? Cheeses, milk, Greek yogurt all offer quite a bit of protein. How about smoothies with protein powder? And good for you for supporting his choices (as long as he's willing to do it in a healthy way).

If nothing else works try a few sugar free gummy bears....after reading the reviews. http://www.amazon.com/Haribo-SUGAR-Classic-Gummi-Bears/dp/B006J1FBLM/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1395769130&sr=8-2&keywords=sugar+free+gummy+bears
