I've been eating a "fiber mix" on my breakfast dairy for the past few days, and I now see that's deffinitely an incomplete entry, only macros, so it logs as 0 fiber... I'll fix that when I get home. Maybe thats even as fiberfull as a tea spoon husk. I'd prefer 'real food' over supplementd.

I do like cabbage a lot! I've alway eaten it raw, and thus tend to get enough of the 'sting' it has (like raw onions), but I will try to steam it then... I'll eat 1/4 of a head for 4 days, see how I'm feeling :)

Plan your meals. Do few ingredients per meal. Never throw anything out. Shop for sales. Don't get stuck on 'what veggies goes with chicken' etc., just buy the cheap veggie and place it next to your cheap protein, done. I'm definitely spending less money now than I used to. Though that's probably also because I eat less.

People here in my country do it aaaaallll the time, so much so that most young people don't even know that it's "supposed" to be mayo.

I struggle(d) with free food too. I'm a very frugal person, so turning down something free just feels so unnatural to me! Plus, so often I think "This may be only time to taste x, I must take advantage of it!" which is ridicoulous, because I could just buy it if I wanted 'a chance to taste it', or make it, I'm good in the…

Are you seriously suggesting that there are addictive additives in the bread, and that's why it difficult to quit? Food is difficult to quick. Foods that are considered a staple at any lunch are difficult to quit. It's not that big of a mystery. Besides, in my country, "additives" in bread are extremely regulated, the only…

I just bought Panache's sports bra, and ooooh my gooodnesss it's so great! It's 1-2 cup sizes too small (I got it in 30H, and they don't do larger than H... But it's UK cup sizes, so UK H-cup = US K-cup), but if I make the straps super long it's ok, and since I plan on keep on losing, it will fit soon enough.

I've cut out bread. Not because I think it'll magically make me lose weight, but simply because I took a look at my diet and assessed which foods were 'worth the calories'. This means I still eat calorie-dense foods if they are delicious or good for me in some other way (I'm eating a lot of protein, so that's probably my…

24calories for 5ml?! That seems impossible. Are you taking 5mL (aka. a teaspoon) of the grounds by themselves? But even at that, it should only have 2cal/g, and you can't fit 12g of coffee grounds into a teaspoon.

I feel like I'm eating weird combos all the time at the moment! Trying to empty my cabinets, while keeping it low cal and high-ish protein is a task! This morning I found a "fiber mix", meant to throw a couple of handfuls of fiber and seeds into a bread-dough. Well, I prepared it like it was oatmeal, with cinnamon and…

I would not want to have so many, so small meals. Then I'd feel like I hadn't had any meals at all! I currently try to stick to 2 meals, but I sometimes do a snack in between. I get much bigger meals, and it's a lot more satisfying for me. Do what ever works for you! Did the nutritionist tell you why you should eat so…

How can all your fats be from almonds, if you are also having oats and eggs :o Anyways, sea food is high protein and low fat often - I love shrimp and cod roe. Also, if you can find some really low fat high protein dairy products, those are awesommmmeee.... Greek youghurt and cottage cheese are good, but skyr, low fat…

I feel extremely uncomfortable. Was really hard for me yesterday, went to a family do, and people kept talking about it, and commenting on my diet (also in the 'Don't eat that, I can see you are on a diet!'-way) and I hateeeeeeeeeeeeee it... I'm considering not going to the next family do, because it just drives me up the…

Soy, whole grains, tuna (especially canned), acidified or fermented milk products (don't know what you use in you tuna salad), beans and lentils (especially canned) are all high histamine foods. If you have histamine intolorance, you should not have these as staples in you diet at all. And vitamin C does not cure histamine…

I try to kind of slip off their comments (vague answers like 'well, maybe a bit of weight....', and 'oh you know, just the usuals' etc.) when people ask, which luckily a lot of people get that it's not something I want to go into deep conversation about. But there are those people who think it's their job to have me stick…

Considering that 22%+ of my calories this week came from veggies and fruit, I'd consider it pretty awful logging to not count it!

I've had several DEXA's. Last time I had one it was just shy of 50% - now I'm 45.5lbs lighter, and I hope that's mostly fat, since I've taken up weights and protein to maintain my muscle. I'm having another DEXA in late summer, by when I should have a normal BMI, so I'm pretty excited about what it'll show!

I'm looking to lose about 125lbs total, so I'll be here a while :)

That's rude

Ohhh, and another thing, I'm REALLY keen on making Georgian food atm, but it's kind of ironic that the ingredients that they use a lot (walnut, fresh cilantro and other herbs, pomegrante etc.), are waaaay too expensive to create meal of here - A side dish (pkhali) would end me at about $30+ here; A sauce (satsivi) would…

They are *just* coming in to stores now - I don't know where they import from (they can't grow here - too damn cold), but for some reason we never get them before May. They are the complely round sort too.

Watermelon. WTF, they are $9 for a REALLY small one (barely the size of a football!) Makes me miss Texas -.- Aspurgus aren't actually as expensive as they get the rep for - I can get 400g for $3, which is only slightly more than what I would pay for other veggies. I've decided to eat a lot more shrimp and molluscs, and I…

I just 'created' this cheese cake recipe :) http://imgur.com/a/z6VbS I think I overdid it a bit with the gelatine, it was difficult to guess how jelly-like it would get, as it was rather liquid when just mixed.. Still delicious though :D And fun to make :) And also, not as dependent on finding specific ingredients from…

I'm a major caffine addict - I drink at least 1½L of caffinated drinks a day - mostly coffee (black) but I sometimes diet coke too. Hasn't hindered my weight loss at all, and can't imagine it would. I think if I didn't get it, I would be so slugish that I would move a lot less, plus I would satisfy my caffine craving with…

I get it most days :) Today I got if mostly from Badrijani (fried eggplant with spiced walnut-butter and herbs) and liquroice root. But also from aspurgus, carrots, cauliflower and berries :) Other days I get it from oats, beans, faux fried stuff as per Hungry Girls' method, broccoli etc etc. Generally veggies - you get a…

I eat skyr or low fat fromage frais, topped with defrosted berries (I like to make them a bit warm), sweetner, and spices (cinnamon, cardemom, ginger), and maybe some toasted oats :) It's the best thing ever! If you do 600g skyr, 150g berries, 10g oats, and a bit of spice and sweetner it comes out with 61g protein for 481…

I eat if I'm both hungry AND have calories left, and it's been 3 hours since I last had something to eat. Sometimes I eat in the evening too even if I'm not hungry, if I have a lot of calories left, and there's something tempting :)

What about those super worried about muscle loss? I lost muscle in the beginning of my weight loss, and I know I can't gain any while at a deficit, so I try desperately to hold on to what I have, without having to slow my loss!

I would like to know this too! I usually eat right before I go, so I kind of don't want to do another meal when I get home :/ I usually wait until next meal time, and then just make sure that's extra protein dense
