If you want lots of "would you sleep with the random stranger above?" posts, you're in the right spot. If you want legit advice? Good luck.

"My arm muscles are big but were more cut before." How is that mean-spirited? Sounds like an observation. "My but[t] looked larger when my middle was smaller and more defined." He did not say "old," he did not say "flat," he made a then-vs-now comparison. How is THAT mean? Sounds like you're overreacting, from what you've…

Not necessarily true. Some job applications have a box you can check to say NO, they cannot contact your current employer. They can still contact OLD employers (before the place you're working now) but not necessarily the place you're currently at. Plenty of people job-hunt while still employed, and it's a common enough…

Fellow WLS person, high-five to you! I lost 145lb, sounds like you're making fabulous progress!

"Sometimes" is surprisingly rare if you check the statistics.

Stupid or no, you're not eating enough calories. If you have unhealthy habits, you're in no place to give "tips" to anybody else.

Or something completely non-food-related, because we know all MO folks eat cake and only cake all day.

BMI is not everything, especially with some variation between body composition. I'm a BMI of 24, but I wear a size 2 pants and my BF% is "average," so I'm not terribly concerned.

If your skin has stretch marks, it's damaged to the point where it won't shrink back. It most often happens with massive weight loss (100+ lb), such as after bariatric surgery. With 30lb, it may just be a bit of fat. "Spot-reducing" is a myth, though strengthening your ab muscles may help.

I like to make mine sauteed in a bit of olive oil with salt and garlic powder. Then add in some cooked mini shrimp and a little bit of jarred pesto... amazing!

Are you SURE you're eating 1300 cal? Unless you're weighing and measuring your food, it's easy to underestimate.

I had WLS (sleeve) in December of 2013 and I've lost 145lb. Best decision I ever made.

Generally, if your body is telling you to do something, it's wise to listen.

Biking in flip-flops or bare feet is no bueno. If you wipe out, you could catch your feet in the chain or spokes and get seriously hurt-- especially if you're riding at a pace for burning calories, 10MPH+.

Science says organic food has no additional nutritive benefits. http://annals.org/article.aspx?articleid=1355685

Sleever here! :) Any sort of kitchen stuff is good-- knives, pots and pans, dinnerware, whatever. I usually eat on smaller plates, since dinner for me is something like one chicken tender and a couple of green beans, so dessert plates would be great. I use my blender a lot for protein smoothies, so a blender or nice food…

A doctor would be the best person to assess a healthy weight for your body type, frame size, etc., and you may be able to have a REAL body-fat test as opposed to something online. If you have a serious emotional reaction to the idea of a particular body fat percentage, perhaps a chat with a therapist or counselor would be…

You're calling her a *kitten*? All of your proposed responses portray you in no better light.

I had the sleeve gastrectomy surgery roughly two months ago. I'm 5'5", started at 271lb, and am currently down to 227lb. My blood pressure and blood work are already greatly improved, and hopefully I can go off my CPAP in a month or two. Yes, there are risks to any surgery, WLS included, especially when you're obese, have…
