This period I have: Scuba dived with seals *AND* gone swimming, as well as everything else I do on a normal day to day basis. So this week's gain is water weight - I had a few days of indulgence but by logging everything it looks like I should have been eating at near maintenance this week, I certainly wasn't over by 10,500 calories required to gain 3lbs of fat! While I agree with this when you're say eating out and not in control of the portions. But when at home and I've logged what's on my plate, you can forget not eating it all. In fact I might bite your hand if you try to take it away from me before I've finished :D
