No because I'm horrible. :)

:( I havent been in the pool for 2 weeks. *sob* I have had a chesty wheezy cold cough thing that is really dragging me down. I am tempted to go to the pool tonight and see what happens, but it'll depend on how I am after a day at work. *fingers crossed*. I am gutted though. I've been eating at pretty much maintenance…

Agreed FWIW.

:) great!! I'll keep my eye out! :)

I'm not doing LC but I did over indulge last weekend. Here's my story: On Thursday 20th Nov I weighed 9st6. It was my birthday on Friday, and I ate LOTs. I had cake at work. I had cake at home. We had a dominos pizza. On the Saturday we had a day out which included a Frankie and Benny's breakfast, and a Wetherspoons tea,…

I must admit I laughed at the thread title. I'm gaining weight - no it can't possibly be because I'm eating in a surplus... there is no other possible explanation - it must be a tumour. Maybe we should worry about all the other people who write they are gaining or plateauing and advise they all seek medical advice for…

Ooo while searching Tescos website I've just seen they do 00 grade pasta flour. That's new! :) Will get me some of that!
-
Thanks! :( Can't find Semolina flour in Tescos. (What is the equivalent over here?)

It would come down to whether I *needed* or *wanted* the money. As it stands, I don't *need* any more money than I earn. Sure it'd be nice to have more, but I'm happy as I am. Therefore, no I wouldn't sell my pets. But if I lived in absolute poverty and that money would mean I could eat/have shelter/etc for the…

I think your body is catching up with the loss you experienced in your first month. Assuming you've been here for exactly 2 months, = 8 weeks. 9lbs in 8 weeks is a good average. The quick loss you experienced at the start of your weight loss journey would not have been all fat loss. It would have been mainly water loss.…

This was me too!! I loved the moment when I could put my wellies on with my jeans tucked in!! :)

This this this this this!! It is about finding what works for you and what you can stick to. If you can stick to losing 1-2lbs a week at a lower weight loss to go fine. If you can't and need to go slower - also fine. Whatever fits you.

I try to do the following: Monday - Swim Wednesday - Aquacise Thursday - Swim Friday - Aquacise Sunday - Aquacise. But sometimes things get in the way - like I won't get to the pool tomorrow night cause I'm off out with some friends. :)

luluinca - well done on making the extra effort to get a 30 mins extra in the pool!

Bama - jealous of your diving!! Our next open water diving'll probably be next October. Until then we go and do pool sessions to keep our skills up.

Have you drastically reduced your caffeine intake? Like reducing the amount of soda you're drinking? I once gave up drinking diet coke. I went from drinking over 2L a day to cold turkey. I have never felt so rough as I felt then. It went once my body had gone through the withdrawals.

<< :) Just so you can see what I mean by red. With the help of my swimming cap, it is lasting around 2 weeks before needing topping up.

I have a HRM (Polar FT1) that monitors how much I actually burn. MFP's database for all exercises can be wildly off. There is a swimming group on here: http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/group/122-swimmers

But if it doesn't happen it isn't that big of a deal. As long as you are healthier today than you were when you started, and that you are eating in a deficit it will come one day. :)

I've very excited - I got a new swimming hat (it seems to have a larger hole area so fingers crossed it will stay on better and keep my hair covered); I can't wait to get in the pool tomorrow to test it. It's one of the new posh Speedo Fastskin things. :D
