To reach goals you must have a vivid image of that goal. How will you feel when you've reached that goal, what will your everyday life be like, how will you know you've reached it? Have a clear picture of that goal, go grab some pictures if that helps you "see it" and start taking small steps daily to get there. Get…

I have to wonder if you are eating enough and including enough fats. Do you track how many calories you are burning during your workouts? Do you focus just on cardio or weight training as well? What is your goal weight? What would you like to reach within 30 - 60 days? ~ Carrie Fitness Life Coach Certified Insanity, PiYo…

Congrats on your wedding!! How exciting! I can relate and have felt that way and here is what I've found to work for me and many of my clients. Before you can change your nutrition habits you will want to really think about how will you feel once you've lost those 15lbs. Thinking about your "Why" will help you tremendously…

Have you been doing the same routine, workout schedule for the full 73 days? If so, maybe you are bored and need a change. It's best to change up your workout routine every 30,60,90 days so your muscles get confused. Have you stopped seeing results maybe?

Wow! Yes, sounds like you are in great shape! May need to keep hydrated. Drink water about 1/2 hr prior to the Insanity workouts. They push you to your limits and are sooo much fun especially if you are competitive with yourself which makes you naturally push harder! Drink sips of water through out the workout. I know he…

Change can be hard for our spouses. The spouse who is moving on is "changing" the routine up and it's scary for them! They are not quite sure what is going on. I like the suggestion in joining your husband in making dinners together! It's fun and this can be quality time to spend together too! You just may inspire him with…

It's all made with sugar and fake food. Never mind the bloating you will receive from it. All natural food is the way to go. If you have a sweet tooth, which I do also, try eating fruit instead. Go cold turkey with soda habit and with in 21 days you may have kicked the habit! That's how I did it. My body no longer wants or…

Hi there, When starting any new program you most often will see a weight gain as your muscles are getting stronger and retaining fluid due to the new workout and strain. This can take up to 30 days. Be patient and give your body time to adjust to the new program(s) To lose weight you'll want to increase your protein and be…

Great Tips and question! I love to run but more of a sprinter and would love to run longer distance. I really like the tip on focusing on exhaling. I will be trying that in my cardio as well as I am not a big fan of intense cardio but I need to do it! haha

Hey there, I so understand where you are. when I started there was no way I was able to meet my 2000 calories!! Man I was bearly eating 1200!! haha What I did to help increase my calories and still do when needed is a nut trail mix. They are high in calories, healthy fats too. Try some fruit (strawberries, berries,…

HIITs are AMAZING!!! Especially if you do not have a lot of time. They burn tons of calories. Turbo Fire is one of the programs that offers HIITS. In 2 months I lost 8% body fat! Insanity is a great all over workout! Really is worth it and MUCH MUCH cheaper than the gym fees as you can replay them. It is a great weight…

Hi there, Are you looking for more of a Recovey Shake or a Meal Replacment Shake? It would depend on how you are looking to use the Protein. Whey protein is great for a Recovery Shake and will replenish what you need and digest quickly for sore muscles from intense workouts. Protein Shakes are more of a Meal Replacemennt…

Hey there, Insanity is awesome!! I had done two rounds. Yes, some of the moves are probably similar to your bootcamp class as Insanity is an Intense Bootcamp workout. You should do well with it! I look forward to hearing all about it! What are your goals with Insanity?

Have you taken pictures? Before, during and after pictures is a GREAT way to SEE yourself more clearly than in a mirror. In pictures you see yourself more from a distance and can SEE the REAL you as others SEE you. Take pictures every 30 days to see results.

Oh I should add that I workout either in the morning first thing or at my lunch time.

Congrats!! Yup, losing weight is 80% nutrition and 20% exercise!! Good for you!! Whoohoo!

Yes, eat your burned calories. Losing about a 1lb - 1.5lb in one week is the PROPER way to lose lb's. Anything more is dangerous. The lbs will add up quickly. Stay focused and consistant and you will reach your goal. If you do not eat your burned calories your body will STOP losing weight and think it is starving and go…

Hey there! Don't underestimate what you can do!! You never know until you try. First off I would like to ask you what your goals are? What are you looking to work on? Lose more weight, tone up, both? Most if not ALL of the programs you can modify to the "Beginner". Then you can workup to the advanced. Also, lots of them…

Oh another question, are you following the Nutrition guide provided with Insanity? Losing weight is 80% nutrition and 20% exercise. The nutrition is the MOST important. You can workout allll you want and as hard as you want but with bad nutrition OR not meeting your total colories for the day, all your hard work is down…

Sorry you are feeling frustrated. It is a slow and life long term process. Okay so you know about the scale. However, because the scale is NOT smart and cannot tell the difference between fat and muscle the BEST way to see if you lost weight is yes through your clothes AND through measuring yourself. Take before and after…

I place any weight lifting under cardio and calc my cal burn there.

Weighing yourself daily will not provide you with the correct results as your water intake will change from day to day and throughout the day. Weigh yourself once a month for a more accurate result. In addition to measuring yourself. It also may depend on your workout. Are you doing weight training, interval training,…
