I couldn't agree with this more. The UK has a healthy living campaign going at the moment and one of the ideas they are promoting is, people who drink full sugar drinks should swap to sugar free drinks...needless to say, it's a contradiction in terms to me. Finding out they are sponsored or supported by Pepsi and Mars…

Thank you, I will. Doing some walking today so all is not lost.

I can't do it today. I've thrown my back out taking the Christmas Tree out and putting the decorations in the loft. Feels like there's a big tennis ball lodged in my lower back on the right hand side. Going to have to rest up for a couple of days.

Done. The leg raises for me are starting to get hard. One leg at a time is too easy so doing both is hard work at the moment. Hope it gets easier once I'm back at the gym.

I've had to switch to Brown rice as it's the only one the kids will eat. Try cooking it in stock instead of plain water or adding a stock cube (low salt if poss) to the cooking water.

Day 2 done. Well done everyone so far.

I quit nearly three years ago by going cold turkey like you. I drank lots of water, kept my hands busy by doing housework, and for me, it's that first nicotine rush from a drag - I HATE it. Sick, dizzy, weak, smelly... When the cravings were really bad, I told myself that I'll have one if I still feel as bad after I've…

How can it be sabotage? I didn't force food down them, I just....er.....tested their will power by leaving temptation in my wake.

Would Marge Simpson only be allowed to eat blue foods then?

I used to work in an office where there were females only. Every. single. One of them bar me were on a diet of some sort. Not only did they talk about it, all the time, every day, they would weigh themselves in the office every single Monday morning and the first hour would be diet talk. After about a month of this they…

What about hair length? The more you have, the more you eat? I've just had mine cut, does that mean I have to halve my portion sizes? I've got highlights in my hair, does that mean I can eat the brown diet (I'm not mixing wine and beer though, hangover central) and snack on white chocolate?

In the morning when I've dropped my son off at school. I'm a lone parent so have no-one to look after the kids after school and to be honest, with their homework and my own, plus housework and cooking etc, there's no time in the evenings anyway - let alone justifying paying for a babysitter to go to the gym.

That's a shame because this 30 day challenge was exactly what I've been looking for. I don't know about anyone else but in the Gym, I'm ok but when I'm home I just don't want to do anything..Having you all there to remind me and show your results and how you are all getting on is just the kick I need.

This is a good thing, now you have room in your life worthy of you and your time and efforts. For what's it's worth, even from across the pond you're cute. You'll have another woman on your arm/in your bed in no time.

I've remembered another one: "Oh for the love of all things holy haven't you finished yet?" In my defence, I was tired, hadn't slept for nearly 4 days and he was trying far too hard. Poor sod, he was understandably upset with me after that. I still feel guilty even though it was a very long time ago.

I do remember one of mine shouting his own name, right in my ear. Pissed off and half deaf is never a good way to end the night.

Hey, I'm in a similar situation to you, only without the baby (congratulations by the way) although I do have a disabled son so that limited my workouts to term times only. Like you, I started not being able to run a minute and found myself running for 20 not long after. It's addictive isn't it? When my kids are back to…
