I actually haven't gotten around to adding friends yet, but I think it would help, so feel free to add me! I log every week day - I've given up on logging weekends, since I'm rarely around a computer to fill in the information, and by the time Monday rolls around, somehow my memory has blocked out any instances of…

If I really want to treat myself (and have been saving up for A WHILE), I love Anthropologie dresses - so unique and quirky and feminine. You can find them on Ebay for a fraction of the store price, too!

I'm not ready for pictures yet, since I haven't lost all that much weight, but here are my numbers: Height: 5' 5" Pre-pregnancy weight: 145 Weight at end of pregnancy: 185 Weight six months after the baby was born, when he was still nursing like a madman: 148 Weight six months after that, when I realized I could no longer…

This is terrific - great job! And I have to say, I'm kind of glad you decided not to pull out the old wardrobe :)

You look gorgeous in your picture!

I think it's great! I have lost only 5 pounds in about 16 weeks, so you're way ahead of me :)

Love this!

Mine is public, but I have to confess that it's not always pretty (and pretty much never filled in on weekends or when I'm away).

I also usually rely on yogurt (1 cup), string cheese (1 stick), crackers (a handful of goldfish or a graham cracker or two), cream cheese on toast (1 slice), hard boiled eggs (1 egg) and fruit (bananas, blueberries, strawberries) for snacks for my 17-month-old. Depending on his mood, he will be done after the string cheese…

Congratulations! Seeing my wii end up in the "normal" range is a HUGE motivator for me!

BUT, did you know that a ton of gold theoretically weighs more than a ton of something else, because of the unique way in which gold is measured? Not that this is at all relevant, since last I checked I'm not made of gold (and I probably wouldn't be trying actively to lose gold)...

Amazing - such a great job. I only hope that my work pays off the way yours certainly has!

I work out in the morning when I get up (5:15-ish) so I still have time to shower and get ready before the baby wakes up and the day really starts, with running to daycare, work, etc. The mornings sometimes feel like they're killing me, even though I'm a morning person, so I aim for three times/week and "sleep in" until 6…

Well put!

You look amazing, and your height, weight, and goals are VERY similar to mine. You've inspired me, and seeing the amount of time it took you to get where you're at is encouraging. Changes like this take time, and I'm often too impatient to wait for the results!

Looking great! And I join the other posters in wondering where you bought that dress - it's so unique and GORGEOUS.

Same here! I was sticking quite close to the 1200 calories, plus whatever I earned through exercise (I'm not very overweight - BMI of 26-point-something) and after losing around four pounds total in my first few weeks, I actually slowly started gaining weight. Now I'm eating roughly 1500 calories per day (plus whatever I…

Thank you to everyone - this is really helpful.

I'm experiencing the same thing! Argh. I've been really good about logging my food and exercising a few days per week and eating the exercise calories, but all I've managed to do is gain half a pound of the few initial pounds I lost in the first two weeks back. I am telling myself that since it's only been a short time,…

I feel your dilemma! My son is 14 months old and very active! I only fit in time for workouts by getting up super-early three days a week, so I have time to work out, shower, and get ready for work before he wakes up. After work and feeding him and playing before his bedtime at 7:00-ish, I'm just too tired to even think…

I made these for my family last night and they were a HUGE hit. Healthy and tasty = a great combination! Plus, they're super-easy to make, so there really isn't any downside to them!

This was amazing, and just the kind of boost I hope for when I come on here. When I have something noticeable to show for my efforts, I'll be sure to post some (probably faceless - I'm not as brave as most of you) pics, too!

One of my favorites (and it's unexpectedly good with the non-veggie crowd, too): Cut brussel sprouts in half, sautee with a few tablespoons of minced garlic in a bit of olive oil until they are fork-tender, and top with a bit of parmesan cheese. Amazing!

Here's one I got from my sister - it's amazingly healthy, tastes super-rich, and is VERY easy to make. I'd serve it with some wine and crusty garlic bread.... Creamy Cauliflower Soup I didn't know cauliflower could taste so creamy. It's amazing, and I wouldn't have ever guessed "cauliflower" as the main ingredient…
