I did the elliptical for a long time which I feel helped me start jogging. When I saw I was doing 3 miles on the elliptical, then I said I must be able to jog now, tried it on a treadmill and was able to jog :D Now I am starting to run outdoors which is also more difficult than using a treadmill. Days I workout, good carbs are a must! I would thing the same would go for runners, you need the energy from them

I'm always full after a meal but during TOM I crave a lot of foods, chewing gum seems to help me

It's just another option for me as far as drinks go, I don't expect it to help me lose more weight! It has never stopped me from being hungry either.

1200 a day??? how do you all do it! I just can't do 1200 cals! I need to eat much more than that, my calories have never gone below 1400 a day

cooked meat vs raw meat does not weigh the same lol and that most foods containe carbs, fats and protein. I used to think almonds were only fat, not good when you are counting calories

I can get obssessed with weighing every day if I am not losing, other than that, I can usually wait about a week

I'm at 1700, I just changed it to 1/2 lb a week, I was struggling at 1lb a week and seem to be doing much better with my new calorie goal :-)

I have been eating late diners since I started to lose weight, I'm done with diner around 10pm, I thought I couldn't eat past 7 hehe!

If you can't get the eating right then you won't be successful with gastric bypass, so why not get that down and do it on your own! I am so glad I didnt go through with it, I'm almost 70 lbs down and it's all thanks to my own hard work! ;-)

Eat properly and keep active, you dont need this stuff! there are no quick fixes!

People didnt really start to comment on my weight loss til I had lost around 40 lbs. Some didnt say anything til about a year later. The scale and taking measurements is what will show your weight loss, dont depend on others noticing when you yourself can see your progress ;)

I tried it but it was hard when I planned on working out and then it didnt happen. Those were my very lose 1200 calorie days, If I ended up not working out then I was starving at the end of the day.
