Agree. I had a 2 week vacation complete with larger meals and a stomach bug. The week prior to vacation I had hurt my leg so no exercise. The week after I had a horrible cold so no working out. I cheated. After W5 D2 (which was longer than I had ever run before in my life), I ran 10, walked 5 and ran 10. It was hella hard. If you are used to running every other day without any adverse side effects then I would do a normal or slightly slower run on Thursday. Congratulations on completing C25K and have fun Saturday!

The running shoes I use now felt nice and comfy from my first run with them. Maybe I'm an anomaly. Did you get fitted at a proper running store? Perhaps you need some time to get used to new shoes but I doubt they should be causing you that much pain.

My completely non expert opinion thinks you have runner's knee. Caused by weak quads/ a tight IT band. I would try foam rolling all over but especially the IT band and some squats/ cycling to build up your quads. New shoes always help but make sure you go to a running store where they will watch you run and make…

Go to these other gyms one at a time and ask for a trial membership. Most gyms will give you a week or half a week to check them out or for a small fee. One gym may be a total standout.
