  • I dont think it matters what day you do it. I cant imagine you would be heavier on your rest day, unless you eat stuff that would make you retain water. I always do mine on friday morning since I tend to slack on the weekends.
  • LOL....I dont know if it was me (I recommend it all the time to anyone who will listen) but I eat it alot! I'm kind of off it right now because I ate it everyday for like 4 months! But I still love it and now you made me crave it!
  • Hi! I'm 5'7 and started at about 146. I was always tall and thin, and small framed. No boobs or curves... :( just the way I am built. My goal was 130 because that is where I was when i got married 7 years ago, before I had kids and I was healthy. I have since lost a bit more than that but im in maintenance mode now.
  • Just found this recipe for you online. It says 1 package of jello and 1 cup of cocnut milk. Good luck! Tell me how it comes out, sounds good! http://recipes.sparkpeople.com/recipe-detail.asp?recipe=850567
  • I have seen recipes for jello shots made with cocount milk and coconut rum, but never heard of just making jello with it. Maybe just play around and try adding 1 cup of water and 1 cut of cocnut milk? Might still set!
  • They make all different size thermal totes. I have 3 different sizes myself. One is large enough to hold lunch for me, my hubby and my 2 kids when we go out for the day. I think I got them in the grocery store. Shop around, anyway walmart or target should have them.
  • In order for most things to be able to remain on the shelf more than a week, they need to contain something to preserve. I bet it is still way better for you than some of the other options, especially if you are trying to stay away from the artificial sweeteners, etc.....my understanding is it is a very minimal amount, and…
  • and by the way....go rangers....just kidding!
  • welcome! Add me to!
  • amazing difference, but really you look so pretty in both pictures!
  • MFP is really kind of low for protein. I always go over and I think its totally fine, as long as the protein you are eating is lean. If you were eating like 3 times the amount, it might be a problem. But your body really needs the protein, especially when you are working out. Its what heps your body build lean muscle. I…
  • I like the party idea! Hurricane party!
  • I'm in CT, I am praying that the power doesnt go out. I can handle the rest but I need power!, but I plan to stock up on ice just in case I need to fill my cooler with cold food. Anyway, salads, and I'll still have the grill. Peanut butter, fruit.....chips, dip, chocolate....oh wait....I got off track there....why do…
  • It takes time for the loose skin to tighten up. If you are younger, it might tighten up on its own. Younger skin has more elasticity. Unfortuately, a lot of it has to do with genetics, how long the weight was on, how old you are, etc...
  • I dont really pay attention to that. I mean, I wouldnt want to have a huge meal right before I hop in bed, but I NEVER have my last snack until everything in my house is done, kids are aseep and I am getting in bed....That is when I fully enjoy my treat!
  • I go to a gym, and it is well worth every penny spent (and mine is WAY more than 12.99 a month....wish i had that deal) The getting hit on thing is just an excuse.
  • What context was it used in? I have used the term spaz before, liek sayinmg "I'm such a spaz" meaning I'm crazy, or freaking out. I think most people dont know that it used to refer to people with a disability, and dont mean any disrespect.
  • I read a quote that has keep me on track. "if you want to, you will find a way. if you dont, you will find an excuse." You have to want to stick it out. Please dont take that the wrong way, I know it was true for myself as well. I started and stopped trying to lose weight a bunch of times before I finally stuck it…
  • I dont usually log when I am away. I just try to be aware of what I am eating...which is a huge change over what I did a year ago when i paid no attention and just didnt even care. I do log in though still, because i dont want MFP to start me over at day 1 now that I am almost at 180 days (ridiculous, I know....but its…
  • same with me.....I dont know if what I eat is what others consider normal, but its normal for me. Add me and feel free to take a look!

  • wow...you look so much younger in your new picture! amazing and congrats on the 20lb loss!
  • Why dont you try looking up recipes? There are a lot of spice combinations that are good, even if you normally wouldnt like the spice on its own. or you can try to get some of those packet seasoning mixes, or Mrs. Dash salt free seasoning blends.

  • Welcome and good luck! Your in a great place here for support!
  • If your doing that, then instead invest in a box of multigrain spaghetti! It takes the same amount of dishes, is healthier and probably costs only a bit more (unless your eating the entire box at once)
  • I agree with logging what the nutrition label says. You will go nuts and then how do you know exactky how much fat leaked out. Just try to buy the leanest cuts possible, then there wont be to much fat anyway.
  • Check out H&M, or Gap. Or just go shopping in any of the major department stores (they usually have a huge variety of the latest styles) and try on what catches your eye. Dont necessarily try to fit in wth the latest trends, but get what you are comfortable in.
  • I agree with the person who said music. Get music that motivates you. Get a good ipod, then you can do audio books. I also do better when distracted by something and not being bored. at my gym, all the treadmills are hooked up to TV's so I watch shows and the time flies by....before I know it I've been running 30…
  • Are you following a recipe? Try looking up some recipes that appeal to you....cooking magazines, websites, cookbooks....they all have healthy recipes.
  • This recipe is from clean eating magazine. I've never had it with flounder but I have made it with tilapia and I love it. I just dont really love flounder. Baked Pecan Crusted Flounder (fr Clean Eating Magazine) Serves 4 Ingredients: Olive Oil Cooking Spray 4- 4oz Flounder Fillets 1 1/2 tsp honey 1 1/2 tsp mustard 1 packet…
