Made my first non-mayo tuna salad today... yum! Scooped half of a very ripe, borderline brown, avocado and mashed with a fork. Can of solid white albacore in water drained and mashed up with avocado. Added salt, pepper, onion powder, touch of chili powder, and a squirt of lemon juice. Scooped it over chopped romaine tossed…

Chicken would be fine. Season it up with garlic, basil, and oregano to give it some Italian flair. Canned tomatoes are fine... I won't judge.

Thanks for the positive feedback! I tinker a lot with healthy and interesting recipes, and this is, without a doubt, my favorite creation. With regards to the pepper... Raw or roasted, doesn't matter. Roasted has more bite, but I've been doing raw lately just for simplicity. With regards to Cajun seasoning. I do so very…

High school... Was about 30 minutes after lunch period ended. We had an open campus... A few friends stayed out at a convenience store to watch the verdict.

Fat resides in more places than just the belly... Losing neck or waist circumference wouldn't lead you to the same conclusion I'm with the poster above though... It is probably both.

I use mapmyrun every day... Once a month it gets screwy with distances, but on the whole it is reliable. Probably not the most accurate out there, but it's still pretty darn close, especially for a free app. It too links right into MFP, plays music straight from my playlists, and has all the basic bells and whistles you'd…

Mapmyrun for runs and biking is great.

I think blanket statements like this aren't fair. The only absolute is that there are no absolutes. Instead, I would simply suggest that those who do not like or welcome comments about their weight loss decide how to react if/when a comment is made, 1. Ignore 2. Thank and move on 3. Tell person you do not appreciate…

I feel so inadequate with my runs burning 100cal per km, 1500 for a 15k is where I max out. Seeing some people near 4000... Wow. LSRs are great burns. I dare say there is no more efficient way to burn massive calories.

Bottom line is this... WORKPLACE IS AN INAPPROPRIATE SETTING TO COMMENT ON ONE'S WEIGHT... The exception would be if you are involved in a wellness related activity or event. In a social setting, even if you don't like it, it's unfair to expect people to know whether or not a comment would be accepted as positive or…

I have a strong feeling IFing is going to be integral to my future, and I've already done some test runs. I can tell you, for example, I haven't had a slice of pizza in 6 months. Come nfl Sundays, I may have a half a pizza and a bowl of Cheetos. But now, I'll throw in a monster run on Monday and fast that day to make up. I…

ChrisDavey... I am totally with you in terms of shifting the mindset to "cleaner" foods as a reward over the "junkier" foods. Case in point, I had a HUGE surplus going late in the day, and I had recently shifted from using MFP to Fitbit in terms of measuring output vs. the input and macros I enter into MFP. I've noticed…

Started running in April after losing 60 lbs... NEVER ran before. 5k I just ran at 23:11 and my last 10k I broke 50 with a 49:28

I'm in a similar boat as MadDog... I will never have a normal relationship with food. For me, it's like an addiction, so the term "moderation" has no meaning. It's either zero donuts, or a dozen donuts... No in between. I realize many may not get that, but a heroin addict cant just have a little heroin once in a while...…

Boy... Some of you took me super literally with the Snickers. It was more of a metaphor. I see lots of people saying if it's for a small treat or snack or moderation, it's ok. But what if I want a real binge day? Let's say I don't want to borrow from other days, I just want my 1500 budget to be a 3000 budget for the day.…

Avoid fuelband,,, nike is getting out of the device field and is instead going to partner with an apple product. Jawbone and fitbit aren't necessarily the tops in terms of accuracy, but with these devices, connectivity and flexibility are just as key, and you will get the most of that with those two. We are getting close…

First few weeks are the hardest by far. Two ideas: Prep dinner ahead of time Eat massive amounts of free foods at dinner... Giant salads basically to fill you up Oh... And clear out the junk food entirely, at least for a month until you can get in a groove.

It's not the dogs the OP doesn't like... It's the owner. The OP likes owners who place a high importance on training and obedience, which many dog owners do. Others love letting their dogs just be dogs. Same can be said for kids... If you don't like loud, obnoxious, selfish, dirty, unruly kids... It's not the kids you…

Business client knows how much I've lost and what my weaknesses are. This is what they had waiting for me at a meeting this week, and yes, I ate it and just ran a little more that evening:

So let's say I want my cheat meal around the 1pm start time. Would you say, eat dinner night before and nothing after 7, let's say, then do my 1000kcal workout around 11am, and party on? Given my goals, that could afford me a 1500 kcal lunch without much concern?

The recipe can make 50-70 cookies. Btw... These will NOT be chewy. They will melt like cotton candy almost in your mouth.
