Maybe you are just awesome. Don't discount that as a possibility.

Not sure why people like playing F***-Marry-Kill with weight training and cardio. You can f*** and marry them both, while killing all your fitness objectives.
-
Just adding my two cents. As far as sustainability goes, I can see why people do it. It is fun and invigorating, and in the grand scheme, it's better than doing nothing. As far as a workout goes, I think it depends on your instructor/routine. I have seen some of the routines on the informercials, and the people are just…

CLX is great on mute. Not being mean, but Chalene's voice is grating. I love the moves, but can't stomach Chalene long enough to get through the program. The statement that Tony Horton is hilarious is a bit of a stretch. I love Tony, and he is a fitness idol, but he's kind of "dad funny". I might chuckle, but in the same…

Sorry, to answer your question, the good half of P90X3 I found to be quite more challenging than 30DS.
-
30DS was good, but a bit too easy by my standards (No, I'm not bragging, just my honest review). As far as P90X3, half of it is good. The good thing is that they have so many videos in P90X3, even half is a good amount of workouts. The workouts that focus on strength and cardio, I loved. The ones that tried to focus on…

You can't legit creep out a legit creep. Please feel free to share other things that your active imagination envisions me doing. Feel free to ramp it up a bit.......imagining me doing a dance exercise routine is kind of tame. (I'll see your legit creep, and raise you).

I love their videos. It's the other side of Beachbody that I don't care for. I will praise their videos, especially most of the ones with Tony Horton and Shaun T. I say "most of the ones" because I'm not a big fan of Shaun T's dance style videos like Cize or Hip Hop Abs, but his Insanity and Focus T25 series is seriously…

I've done Tapout XT and XT2. Both of them aren't bad. It's kind of like if Insanity and Asylum had a lovechild.......a lot of high intensity cardio, plyometric style stuff, with some strength/resistance mixed in. It will kick your *kitten* pretty good, and I think the amount of equipment is minimal.......maybe just a…

While I appreciate the comment as I am usually quick to point out the same, our conversation had not devolved to conversations of "coaches" and overpriced tripe. In other words, slow down on that trigger finger buddy.......you'll get your chance to bash Shakeology. Actually, I just read this thread, and you only had to…

I'm right now trying to create a hybrid workout that starts with a P90X base, but I take out the Plyo X, Yoga X, and Kenpo X and work in workouts from Insanity, Asylum 1 or 2, Focus T25, Les Mills Combat, and others. I haven't figured it out yet, but I'm still in the process of designing it.

You found "good stuff" in an episode of Fat Shaming Weekly The Biggest Loser.
-
P90X, even after all the others that have come after, is still the definitive BeachBody workout in my opinion.
-
You're doing 10 minutes more than the person on the couch, so that's good. On the other hand, if you diet is no better than that person on the couch, your 10 minutes might be all for not.
-
P90X is still by far my favorite, with Insanity MAX coming in a close second.

I like BeachBody workouts, but don't think they are worth every penny (at least not every penny Beachbody wants for them on their website). They are good workouts, but I will gladly get them second hand or on YouTube (or other means). Shakeology, on the other hand, is barely worth a single penny. I have never consumed a…

I assume you mean Body Beast. If so, it's not a bad program, although not the best by any stretch. Hands down, Beachbody's best program is still P90X. Many have come after it, but few have replicated its awesomeness. What's your favorite Body Beast video so far?

I wasn't prescribed any physical therapy, not for an arthroscopic procedure. Since yours is just a "clean up", you will not likely get prescribed any either. The physical therapy you'll likely have recommended by your doctor.......get up and walk around, gradually add activity as you can tolerate it. Your knee will tell…

If it syncs with Endomondo, and I have my Endomondo app setup to sync with MFP, with the Google Fit data that's synced with Endomondo ultimately sync with MFP? Please let me know if my question makes any sense.

All complaints about sales pitches aside, I did enjoy Focus T25 as a workout, although I'm not sure if it classifies as HIIT. Shaun T's other program, Insanity, might be closer to a HIIT-ish workout. If you like free or cheap, and who doesn't, you might find some good HIIT workouts on YouTube, Fitness Blender (Fitness…

Or you can use Google to find out more information about it. Wow, mlevyxo's post had Beachbody Coach hard sales pitch written all over it. I've done T25 and it's a great workout, but it wasn't exactly life changing.

100% this. The scale should be one measurement, not the only one. Invest in a tape measure and take body measurements, or like rezgrl said, see how you're clothes are fitting. Also, it's only been 2 weeks. I'm sure you didn't pack on the weight in 2 weeks, so don't expect it all to fall off in that amount of time. If you…

I have had two knee arthroscopic procedures done to remove torn meniscus (one when I was 15, and another just this last year at age 37). Obviously my recovery was quick when I was 15. I was up and moving around the same day, and running around by the next day. This last one this past year, my recovery was a bit slower. I…

Exactly...how? I initially got rid of the Google Fit app because it wouldn't sync with MFP. When I saw this thread and saw someone say that integration is now available, I redownloaded the app, but still no syncing or integration was possible. Perhaps I missed something. Please let me know.
-
The posts that I come across that appear more obvious than others.......yes, I tend to call them out. If this was a mistake on my part, then my apologies, and have fun.
-
I guess I'm alone in using this app.
-
As long as your first cardio routine isn't 24 hours long, then of course it's possible.
-
Okay, I was curious if this was legit. I was wondering if this was being posted by a true Insanity enthusiast or a Beachbody "Coach".

Wow, this looks like a bunch of misinformation if I've ever seen it. Please let me know what crevasse you pulled this from. If you are just basing this on what a heart rate monitor says, then I guess I can understand your confusion.
