Okay, sifting through the harsh criticism.......on one hand, it's better than just planting your rear on the couch and melting into the upholstery. On the other hand, I guess this is where we have come to.......catering to the lazy, binge watching lifestyle (Congratulations America!!! We've done it. NOTE: We actually…

I am perfectly capable of doing that without any knowledge, and I don't need knowledge as a crutch in my lifelong pursuit of making an *kitten* out of myself. And yes, I'll probably check back again, but mainly because I see that pretty highlighted "new" tag on the forum topic. Like a cat with a laser pointer, I'm easily…

I have asked people who know what they're talking about, and have read many resources written by people who know what they're talking about, and what I'm stating is not BS.

Stop, stop, stop. Do some research before you begin spouting nonsense that will steer someone in the wrong direction. Fat loss is achieved by burning more calories than you ingest, and your body burns more calories effectively through building muscle..........meaning that both are, to some degree, happening at the same…

Also, like ssjones999 said, Fitness Blender is also a great site with a lot of great free videos and a chunk of them requiring no equipment.

I wonder how many calories you'll burn by carrying that Ab Lounge and Shakeweight out to the trash. I've got two apps on my phone/tablet that work perfectly.......You Are Your Own Gym and Just 6 Weeks.......body weight exercise routines done in about 30-45 minutes, no equipment necessary.

#1 - Eat at a deficit. #2 - Build muscle, not just in your core, but everywhere. Build muscle, muscle burns calories to stay alive. Your biggest muscle groups are in your legs. I know it sounds odd, but you will do more to burn that fat in your midsection by working your legs, because muscle doesn't care where the fat is…

Your meals look far better than the original liquid breakfast/dinner you had, and your goal seems far more attainable and sustainable. I think you'll find you'll enjoy this and can keep it going far longer with more energy.

I'm surprised too.....Insanity MAX is pretty badass, far superior to the base Insanity (in my opinion).

In doing research from sources written by people smarter than this yahoo (any many other MFP yahoos), it would appear that I am half-right. Yes, on one hand, your body is working harder to produce the milk and is burning calories (although most of your calorie burn as a new mom is from the constant movement and activity,…

Probably the one thing McCloud stated that I wholeheartedly agree with.

Sorry, and no offense, but this statement is *kitten* to the point that flies are surrounding it. I've never seen such a misinformed health/fitness statement since the last time I watched Dr. Oz Speaking now to the OP: Fat loss is achieved by burning more calories than you ingest, and your body burns more calories…

Please, one activity at a time.......let everyone workout this breastfeeding conundrum and then we can move on to addressing the amount of calories my attitude burns. While, yes, I am being glib in my response, my response comes from a pragmatic place. I think people, and you, are confusing calorie burn with calorie needs.…

Agree with the previous posters. You are taking your diet to an extreme that you can not or should not sustain (and remain healthy). Insanity is an intense cardio workout, and your body is going to demand extra sustenance. In the case of an intense workout, food is your friend, not your enemy..........just make it good…

Resistance bands are great. Run the middle part of the band under your feet, and you can do resistance squats and lunges, bicep curls, shoulder presses, tricep extensions, rows. Keep the band there, and do resistance punches and uppercuts to add some resistance to a martial arts style workout. Get in pushup position, run…

Have fun, T25 is a pretty damn good workout.

Let's not be too harsh, maybe she's on to something. I got out of bed this morning...I'm sure there was some ab work there and walking to the shower surely burned some calories. My showers are pretty vigorous, so, cardio perhaps? I ate breakfast.....my jaw was moving, so I'm pretty sure I can log that as circuit training.…

<---Profile Pic............says it all.

It's good for a cardio/circuit training/interval training type workout, and it's pretty intense. I've found some great tabata-styled videos on YouTube and Fitness Blender.

I found it to be quite boring. Plus, I find Chalene Johnson annoying.

Looking at your schedule, it appears that your following one that's identical to many schedules I have seen. I have done Jim Stoppani's Shortcut to Size and Jamie Eason's LiveFit from BodyBuilding's website, as well as P90X, and all of these follow this format or some variation of it. I know the goal is to give those…

I agree with part of what you said. Yes, fat loss is about a calorie deficit. On the other hand, if you are adding muscle, your body will burn more calories just to keep that muscle alive. In other words, if you are successful at adding muscle, you could possibly eat more calories and still be in a deficit. Now, I am by no…

How long have you been doing this? How fast are you expecting results? What is your diet like? I don't see anything wrong with the regiment.........more importantly, aside from your expectations, do you have any issues with this program? Is this program sustainable, ala, can you see yourself doing this regularly? I'm not…

Chunky, no.......morbidly obese, yes. Once you understand sarcasm, get help for your real issue.

At least 50.

Debbie Downer strikes again.

Out of all the Beachbody videos, Combat is by far one of my favorites.....it's fun, yet intense at the same time. I don't do it much right now, but you are free to add me if you want.

Stopped doing it, mainly due to mass amounts of stress on my knees, ankles, and lower back. It is an intense cardio workout, but after doing it a few times, I'm not sure I can in good conscience recommend it to anyone. I encourage you to be careful. Focus on form first, speed later. Once you have got a good comfortable…

I love this statement. I've seen from time to time people logging, or asking about how to log, chores/routine activities. "I cleaned the house today.....got to log it into MFP." "I went from my desk to the copier.....I wonder how many steps I walked/calories I burned." "I had sex.......time to ask about how many calories…

"Toning" is a myth. Eat at a deficit, build muscle.......genetics will do the rest. Your best 4 exercises to build muscle, head to toe.......pushups, squats, lunges, pull ups.
