  • Thanks everyone! I will try to add more protein and fiber and veggies to my diet. I do tend to drink a lot of water when I'm at work but struggle to when I'm at home. I will try to make a point to do so. Fortunately, I'm only on the meds for a week (I hope).
  • Herbs de Provence. It is a Southern France spice mixture. It makes chicken, pork, and veggies really awesome. I am from the midwest and not very well traveled so when I came aross this in a recipe, I wasn't sure about it and was amazed the grocery store even had it. I tried it and, WOW!

  • Another alternative is to add Coffee to it instead of water. It makes the meat super moist and it gives it a bit of flavor. :)

  • Thanks. Those are helpful suggestions. Minnie: I see your point. I did 45 minutes of cardio yesterday fasted and felt like crap. Today I only did about 30 and felt better. I wonder what would be a good thing to eat before I go in the morning (usually swimming). I hate yogurt and can't eat PB that early in the morning…
