You are my people! lol

I'm a vegetarian and a good homemade taco salad is about the only salad I'll eat as a meal. I don't eat a lot of salads, I haven't had one in months. I do eat a lot of veggies, just not usually in a salad.

Live in Missouri, 38 years old, married 20 years. No kids on purpose! lol

Yes, my husband and I take magnesium before bed. It really helps us.

You guys are giving me hope. I'm on week 6 of strong curves and 2 runs a week. I've been fluctuating up and down the same 3-4 pounds. It's frustrating. I keep hoping I'm building muscle while losing some fat and it'll all show up on the scale eventually. Wish I'd get a whoosh lol!

cherries blueberries strawberries pineapple onions mushrooms spinach tomatoes You don't realize how many you eat until you list it out! cool I haven't even had dinner yet lol.

I have a Bowflex 7 series. Very high quality, has an incline.

I don't know if this applies to you or not. But I've been a vegetarian for 10 years. I tried to go vegan for a year of that and lost about half my hair, luckily I have a lot of hair! I went to the doctor and they did blood tests and said everything was perfect. I discovered on my own that I wasn't getting enough dietary…

I've been a vegetarian for about 10 years, lacto-ovo.

That's a lot of protein but try adding more non-meat protein sources. Beans, lentils, peas, nonfat greek yogurt-none of which have much, if any fat but lots of protein. Beyond meat is a meat substitute made from pea protein that tastes good and is loaded with protein.

I work from home at a desk full time so I don't even have to leave the house to go to work lol. I try to workout before work and have a desk cycle to pedal while I work for 1-2 hours a day.

I was in the military. I sucked at push ups. Unless you have to meet a requirement before you go, just practice doing them how your are supposed to and if you can only do a few then work your way up from there. You could add in some planks and knee pushups too. Same for sit ups, just do as many as you can and work up from…

Beyond meat makes a meat crumble made from pea protein and its really good!

I'm on week 3 of the beginner program. I was very sore the first week and less sore the second. So I have constantly been sore for 2 weeks now lol. I'm at a healthy weight but would like to lose 10 pounds or so. I haven't lost any weight but I do feel stronger already and am looking forward to sticking with it and…

Good point! I better get to pedaling! Thanks.
-
I have one, I don't think it burns that many calories so I don't worry about logging it. Even if I pedal for a couple hours every day I doubt I would burn more than 100-200 so I just think of it as an extra calorie cushion. But, I would think the stats for a recumbent bike would be the closest estimate. I forget I'm…

Potatoes have a lot of potassium.

I hate fake sugar and all those no calorie "waters", so it's good that you like unsweetened tea. I'd say you just gotta set your mind to no pop and make it happen!
-
I hate diet too. A few years ago I didn't drink any pop for 1 year straight. I just drank coffee in the morning and water all day. Now I will occasionally have one when out to eat and that's it. Just gotta break the habit.

hooptybug@yahoo.com I love the challenges!

I ordered the book! Thanks! I plan on doing this at home so hopefully I won't have to buy tons of equipment lol. We shall see...

Is this a book or an app? Sounds interesting.

I've been a vegetarian (lacto/ovo) for over 9 years. I was never diagnosed with anything. However, when I was still eating meat it would really mess up my stomach and once I stopped eating meat my issues resolved on their own. It's worth a try! My body does way better without meat, everyone is different.
-
You aren't alone. I love my wine. Maybe just try saving some calories for a drink or two a couple times a week.
-
I think everyone is different and not one thing will be the best diet for everyone. But I do like to watch health documentaries and I just watched a new one yesterday that talked a lot about cancer and diet. It's called "What the health" and is on Netflix. It was interesting.

I don't usually feel like doing anything for a day or two. I'll do some yoga poses to help with cramps.
-
I've been taking vitamin D supplements with chelated magnesium and I feel better. I'm sure my levels aren't as low as yours but if you can't see your doctor right now that couldn't hurt.
-
I'm 37, we never wanted kids so we didn't have any lol. Been married 20 years this summer! Ahh how did we get so old?
-
Right now I'm at my high end of 145. I prefer to be around 134-136. At my current weight just losing 3 pounds makes a big difference at least to me lol.

Eat a banana in the evening, I read they have tryptophan them. I'm not sure if it's in my head but I feel like I sleep good if I've had a banana a couple hours before bed.
