I started having this years ago when I was in the military and can still have issues with it now if I'm not careful. I have a tight IT band which cause my runner's knee. I'm a vegetarian (lacto/ovo) of 11 years, and when I tried to be vegan years ago I had a hard time getting enough fat. My hair started falling out because of it. Make sure you pay attention to that too.

You can try taking lactaid before you eat dairy and see if that helps.

I work from home too and it has definitely contributed to my weight gain. I love my job though so I have to get into a better habit of getting on my treadmill at home!

If your calories are being accurately tracked just give it more time! I know it's frustrating, we all want fast results but unfortunately we need to be patient. (Telling this to myself too)

I have a Bowflex brand treadmill. I've had it for about 10 years now, very good quality. You may want to look into getting a used one. Lots of people buy them and hardly ever use them.

When I cut wine out completely it usually takes a few weeks to start noticing a change in my weight. But I feel better immediately. I'm about to cut it out again to lose some weight so good luck to us!

I have a desk cycle and it definitely gets my heart rate up a little bit. It's better than nothing which is the alternative since I have a desk job and can't move much all day. OMG, yes! I'm 39 and I've been gaining so fast the last year. I've gained more than 10 pounds since June, this has never happened to me in my life, it totally sucks and I have yet to get it under control :(

I use a foam roller down the outside of my thighs. It hurts but it does help with the IT band.

I quit in 2005 for good. I loved smoking at the time so it was hard for me. The first few days are the worst so once you're through that, keep going! Now I find smoking disgusting and can't believe I used to smoke! You can do it!

I haven't eaten any meat since January 8, 2008. About to have my 10 year vegiversary lol. I know it's not for everyone but it is the best thing for me. I don't think anyone gives me any crap about it. No one really gives me any crap about any of my choices, I must be scary lol.

I recently signed up for WW online just to see the difference. I want to be able to eat my normal, favorite foods in smaller portions and lose some weight. If I do this using WW, sometimes I can use up all my daily points in one meal. If I eat these same foods while counting calories on MFP I am still left with 500 or more…
