I'm at 1200 cals.. and sometimes eat my exercise cals (I know.. it's bad).

Sort of... but I'm still really out of shape. The parking lot at my work is one giant hill. So if I park far away, I'm a sweaty mess by the time I get there. I do, however, go for 30 minute walks at lunch time. I try to take the stairs when possible. Depending on weather, I will park further at a store. I've been trying to…

31, 222 lbs, 5'5". Trying to get to 140! Add me if you want.

I did mapmywalk last week and it too said I walked 5mph..um.. If I put the treadmill at 5mph, I'm running. Clearly it wasn't right. I just figure out how many miles I walked in how many minutes to get my mph.. and then calculate for that.

You're eating so much processed and sodium filled stuff.. and beer never does anyone any favors with weight loss. Even on a tight budget, I've managed to eat healthy foods. Sandwiches, salads, soups... maybe not 100% clean, but much less processed than chips and pizza and beer and digornos. Just say no to beer.. ick

I'm rarely thirsty or think to drink water. It's always been a struggle for me. I typically only drink anything if I'm eating. So when people say I should be downing water all day.. I can't even imagine. And when I do down water all day, I'm peeing all day too. Everyone is different. If you're not severely dehydrated and…

Good for you and Amen to good old fashioned hard work!

Or, do I start doing what has worked in the past? I lost about 75 lbs eating 2 cheese sticks and a bowl of steamed veggies per day. It totally sucked but it worked. It did? But aren't you back here now trying to lose again? I'd say that plan wasn't something maintainable. Slow and steady wins the race.

With that schedule, you may need more food.

I've TRIED AND TRIED wake up early to workout. My main reason for wanting to do the am workouts? It's done and I only have to shower once. If I workout after work, then there's a 2nd shower for the day. Plus I'm so tired after work.

My belly is definitely much smaller. Nobody else has noticed a darn thing though.... :(

Maybe just try strength training and firming up? Losing weight won't necessarily make you look less pudgy. Get toned.
-
Maybe 125 pounds is just right for your height? Maybe your body doesn't need to be any smaller. When I weighed 130 pounds I kept trying to get to 120. I finally realized 130 is probably exactly where I needed to be.

She is my inspiration. Size, style, hair... Love it!

You look great in the before and after!

I did Richard Simmons tapes when I was a kid in the 80s. A workout is a workout and if it motivates you and you lost 112 lbs. AWESOME! I personally prefer other workout videos.

Stress/anxiety can hinder or sometimes help weight loss. It really all depends. I've read that stress can cause belly fat, which is unhealthy. Also, being stressed often causes poorer sleep which again, can hinder weight loss. On the flip side, someone with high anxiety often burns more calories or doesn't have as big of…

Losing weight for the most part isn't a selfish thing. It's called "being healthy." And I think people who say you're selfish are just jealous. I know my family has always been very unsupportive of me - fat or skinny. If I'm fat, they tell me and talk smack behind my back. If I'm skinny, then they talk smack and say I…

I call BS. It's a good cardio workout. It burns calories. I used it primarily when I was a fit and healthy 130 lbs.

Seriously... you're looking for a fight on here. Just sayin... and in your last post you complained that 11 pounds in 4 weeks wasn't enough??

I feel like the master cleanse and 5:2 and medifast and all those other crazy quick fixes are not what MFP should be about. It's about calories in and out and exercising.
-
Great job!!! I'm down almost 20 but haven't taken a picture yet. I just don't feel like I look any different. My clothes are much looser, but I'm afraid I'll take a picture and say "Hmm... no difference.."

When I can actually get up and exercise (which is rare).. I am usually exercising at home. So 5:30 a.m. for me. I need to be in the shower by 6:30 a.m. and out the door by 7:25 a.m.

Coffee makes me go to the bathroom... not pee.

Murder me in my sleep.

I love Maurices! And their plus sized clothes don't make me feel like I'm an 87 year old lady... (I'm 31 btw)

You say it's not emotional, but then say how stressed you are. I imagine stress is playing some role. You might need more protein or filling foods to help keep you from going crazy on carbs.
