I was chubby and shy as a kid and in high school I lost weight, got a tan, and was less shy. Suddenly all the asholes who made fun of me or were jerks, were like "Hey there.." One guy in particular who viciously attacked me verbally for no reason as I sat quietly on the bus, suddenly wanted to be my friend. I told him…

Clearly nothing if I'm on here! Actually watching a movie at home.

All totally depends on a ton of factors. Sizing is different all over the place. Bodies are different. For me, I dropped 18 lbs before I could move down a size. When I was 140 lbs and went down to 130.. I didn't change sizes. In fact I was wearing a size 13 in some pants, a 10 in others, and fit into a 4 in another brand.

I agree with seeing the word as it is in the dictionary. It's when people say "I'm on a diet" or "I'm doing a diet" is when it sounds like a fad or something other than a lifestyle change.

People still need to exercise for health so anyone who says "why would you do that, you're already skinny?" are obviously stupid.

It WAS me. But I am finally accepting of the slow pace of weight loss.

A little. I work at a desk job so I already have a fitness strike against me. But I've been walking every day during my lunch hour for 30 minutes when I can. I also exercise on the weekend and if I'm really feeling motivated.. will do some more exercise after work. I'm trying to fit it in anywhere I can.

I wouldn't consider my journey a resolution. It just so happens I started on January 3rd and haven't stopped since.

I eat bad foods on occasion and stay within my allowance and am losing weight. But I try not to make a habit of it. Bad foods usually take a lot of my precious calories and don't fill me up. I wouldn't recommend eating too many fruits in place of veggies only because they tend to be higher in calories and sugar. Can you…

I have tried - Low carb, Body for Life, Paleo, Slim Fast, Nutrisystem, Medifast, and probably a few other "fad" diets. I am absolutely, 100% sure that I am not a fad diet person and will never stick to anything like that. I like food and eating normal things. I had someone recently try to push a special shake program on…

For me 1200 calories has been incredibly easy to maintain and my doctor does not disapprove. My binge was an emotional response to some crappy events that occurred this week. My brain is still conditioned to drink alcohol and eat crap when things get bad. I just need to retrain my brain... I was doing very well the past…

I've been on almost every AD out there, including Prozac. I started with Zoloft and moved around a bit and ended up on Prozac. With all ADs I've taken, it has definitely helped my anxiety and anger issues. None have done anything for my depression. Some have even made me feel like an emotionless zombie (Zoloft in…

I've tried Slim Fast a few times but always felt deprived and hungry. If it's working for you and you enjoy it, then keep going. I'm sure lots of people have lost weight with it.

sounds like you're not eating enough during the day or stop eating too early. Try tweaking your awake diet first.

Coca Cola is just pure garbage. 2 liters a day??? Yikes. Just remember how much sugar, calories, and caffeine you used to consume. You're making a great choice eliminating it. You'll get used to living without it.

Awesome job!!!

It's in the settings. It asks if you want it in your posts.

Based on the caveman's post, I suppose I've never binged!

Thank you! I believe a recent medication change helped me have such a quick loss initially. I'm thankful for that. I do know it will be slower as I continue.

I love Leslie Sansone workouts. You can find most of them for free on YouTube. I've also found Jessica Smith's workouts to be great. Also free on her website. Fitness Blender has some good workouts - again, free online (but a little more difficult in my opinion). Walking outdoors is also a great start.

Great job girl! I had one week where I only lost .8 lbs. The following week I was down another 2. Weight fluctuates, but if you keep at it, you will see and feel a difference! I can now walk longer distances, up hill, etc.. without absolutely dying. And I've only lost 18 lbs so far! I can't wait to see my progress when I'm…

I don't intend to eat less than normal today to "make it up." But I do plan to make much healthier choices and get some water in!

I've heard intervals are more effective than steady paced cardio workouts.
