I didn't even read the whole post. No I haven't heard of it and the title alone screams ridiculousness. Eat healthy, count calories, and exercise.

I personally consider bingeing eating until I'm stuffed. Losing control. Eating a whole bag of chips. Eating a whole bag of Reese's. Eating half of a pizza. Eating 3000+ calories. I think it's bingeing.. although spell check marks it.

You sound a lot like me. I'm bored with my food choices. My husband and I are trying to find simple recipes we can start incorporating to make things less blah. As for night time - I too struggle. I like to eat berries. I buy them frozen (no sugar added), let them sit out for an hour or so and then have that as my final…

Lack of self control, unhealthy relationships with food, medications... I went from 160 to 130 a few years back.. and then I ballooned up to 240. For me - depression, alcohol, lack of self control, using food for comfort, not exercising...

I'm 5'5" and 130 lbs was my best weight. I got down below that but it was too hard to maintain. I did have to exercise a lot of always watch what I ate... My current goal is 140 (I'm past 200 now... sigh...)

Everyone is different. If I give up something completely, I end up craving it and going nuts. I do best with moderation or allowing myself a cheat meal.

My doctors told me Zoloft was weight neutral. After reading all the posts here, clearly it is not. Why the lies? I never would've taken the drug had I known I'd get so fat. And let's not even talk about what it's like trying to wean off Zoloft... (Holy withdrawals from hell..)

This happens a lot on here... But again congrats to you. Not sure if you saw my post (hidden in all of the massive quotes/arguments)...

She's your mom. Be point blank honest. No donuts or ice cream in this house. Thanks! Also - you choose to eat that stuff. Just choose not to. It's hard when it's in your face, but you can say no. I've done it 1,000 times already. :)

I would consider myself having a drinking problem, bordering on alcoholic. The past 6 weeks I've drastically cut my alcohol consumption down. (From drinking daily to once a week or less)... This week.. back to my old ways. And I feel like crap. I'm tired, sweaty, depressed, and eating more than I need. My goal is to limit…

When I started Zoloft I weighed 140... Now I weigh 222 (and that's after losing). Be careful with Zoloft. I'm now on Effexor and seem to be losing weight.

Dang girl. You've been surrounded by some aholes...

YES! I'm on day 4 of no exercise. And I don't think feeling guilty is a bad thing. You have something in your life that is taking you away right now and that's ok. Just try to get back to it when you can and don't beat yourself up.

AS an HR person this makes me CRINGE! So sorry you went through that.. yikes. You could still try to file a claim against them... just sayin'...
-
Hey there. I started at 240 lbs., 5'5" - I know that's a little less than where you're at, but I'm sure I can relate.

I get horrible sleep and do a lot of tv time.. but I am doing ok with the others and still losing! Great thoughts. Thanks for sharing.
-
I should clarify I'm not looking for a scientific answer. But maybe someone who had a similar week and still lost? Thanks!!!

Thank you grammar police.

My husband loves Crossfit. I tried it once and nearly vomited. And my legs were severely sore for a week. But anyone can do it. You just modify.

Looks like a few of us on here are Vitamin D deficient... what gives?
-
I take a women's daily multivitamin, an Omega 3 supplement, and am on prescription Vitamin D supplement (I'm deficient)

I guess I meant to say sausages.. lots of sausages and meats of that nature. And yes, we will be walking a lot. We have three tours planned and four days of exploring to do.

Last year I had this pain in the same area of my back for months. It felt like it just needed popped back into place. I saw a chiropractor and he never once got the spot that was actually bothering me. He'd crack and pop me all over and then do ultrasound therapy or roller bed stuff.. nothing. I finally gave up. I would…

Highly doubtful you gained 2.2 pounds from going 400 calories over on one day. So many factors here... Are you sore from working out? Sometimes when I'm sore, I weigh more. Is it that time of the month or close to it? Have you had a lot of sodium? Don't get frustrated. Last week I only lost .8 lbs and I was so irritated.…

It really all depends.. everyone is different. If you're losing 1-2 pounds per week, then 24-48 lbs.

Since this isn't my first rodeo, I just dove in. My cholesterol is high, my blood pressure is high, and I felt like crap. I cut down my calories, stopped drinking so much alcohol, and started exercising. For exercise I did a lot of walking at first. Now I'm doing more intense workout dvds. Slowly but steadily working my…

You're already at a healthy weight for your height so it might take awhile to lose.

I was on Zoloft for a very long time. During that time I went from weighing 140 lbs to 210-ish. Then I went on Celexa and ballooned up to 240! When I was on Zoloft or Celexa and tried REALLY hard to lose weight, nothing would happen. Since I've been on Effexor, I've lost 17 lbs. fairly easily. I know doctors say that those…

Of course it's possible! You lost 45 before, you can lose those extra 25 again. Just keep at it.
