Seems like, as is almost always the case, you have to find what works for you. I'm not sure how people can refute what a nutritionist says unless they have formal training. Weigh and measure everything until you are confident enough to eyeball it. I feel most people underestimate what they eat.

My advise is log everything to a T. When I do not use my calories I burned exercising, that is when I lose weight. Good luck!
