If you buy some Olestra products (do they still make the chips fried in that?), it's much cheaper and you still get the anal seepage! ????

Have you thought about a knee brace just while you're exercising? Should provide some extra support.

Food is food... and, juicing just takes out the fiber -- and fiber is really good for your health, for feeling fuller and better for your digestive system. After a quick look at your diary, the few days I saw you blogged, you were under 1200 calories. I'm not a doctor, and don't pretend to be one, but in my opinion, you…

Yeah... if we could shop in 1970! Those prices are SO out of date. And, you can get two Whoppers for $5 at my local BK.

Would like to read more people's opinions... in for that. ????

This is so helpful! ????

Pretty sure it wasn't her choice what the Gub'ment mandated be put on the nutrition labels in the U.S. Kudos to her for trying to work with the information available and get it right.

300 Calorie "Big Mac": Healthy Life whole-wheat Hambuger bun (80 Calories), Flame Grilled Boca Burger (120 Calories), Low-fat American cheese (45 Calories), Low-fat Thousand Island dressing (40 Calories)... add lettuce, pickles and onions (15 Calories). ????

Just wanted to say that McDonald's doesn't serve lunch 'till 10:30 AM... so you'd have to wait 'till 10:30 AM to have your Big Mac Attack! ????

How many calories does MFP recommend you should be eating per day? I have had this problem. You do lose significantly more in the first few weeks. I lost seven pounds my first week and four the next and then only one the following week. To be honest, I was eating too few calories. And, with that much time on the…

Great job, man. I would also like to know what kind of exercise you did during this process?

That's how you do it. Amazing what just thirty days will do. Keep on keeping on. Doing great. Very inspiring.

Again, thanks everyone.

Thanks for the advice, all!

Good info. I haven't started the inclining yet... but hope to get there soon. I am really tall and have long legs, so I don't know if the 3.0 MPH is a problem. I don't think I could do sixty minutes yet, though.

I've had the Morningstar Farms hot dogs... eh, not too bad, BUT try their corn dogs. OMG... sooo good. 150 calories, kinda' high in sodium, but so are regular hot dogs. :glasses:

LOL... okay, I'm just replying because I do the same thing with pickles.

FR Sent!

My two cents: 1200 doesn't sound like enough calories. If your body thinks it's starving, it will do everything it can to hold on to the weight it has.

I had this same problem. Here's my work around: Made a pot of Chili... got out the bowl I usually eat it in and filled it with what I considered a serving. Poured that bowl into another pot and then just kept repeating 'till I knew how many of my servings were in the pot. Entered the recipe on here and put in the number of…

If you're good about logging your exercise (sometimes MFP can over estimate them), MFP will adjust your calorie needs each time you record your weight.

Thank you for sharing what you've said here... I'm where you were. You're an inspiration, and I wish for your continued success and pray for your health to improve as you get where you're going! :-)

You've come to the right place. I just started on January 1, and started exercising January 10. Food: Log your calories. Everything you eat. Sharing your diary with friends will help them to help you stay in check. Exercise: Log your exercise. I started on the treadmill for 20 minutes at 2.0 miles per hour for two…

Ditto!

I think you can adjust your activity level on here to account for the exercise. Also, logging your exercise can help you keep an eye on how many calories you're burning, but I do think they tend to over estimate the amount of calories burned, so that's something else to watch for.
