I definitely hear you. I'm in a similar situation where I don't eat because I know I won't hold it down. We're not helping ourselves, though. Try a protein bar, or fruit. I agree with you about MFP being like FB. I love my new MFP friends, and find the support immeasurable. I even love that if I have some of my favorite foods (Swiss Chalet is my killer) that I can make healthier choices and not feel deprived. Good luck. Someone told me once that we need to stop seeing food as a reward and that it is a "treat" or "we deserve it". If you see it as gas/fuel then you will perceive it differently. I know that helps me when I want to derail. I'm looking forward to support :)

I definitely hear you. I love certain foods (pot pies, gravy, etc) but I know those foods and my lack of moderation is what got me where I am. I wanted Swiss Chalet the other day, so I had it. I chose a salad instead of fries. Baby steps. :) I just started a couple weeks back. It's hard, but doable! Good luck!
