Well, it still very much taste like banana, but I love it. It is kinda like eating banana bread but pancake style for breakfeast.

My favorite green smoothie is: Baby spinach, lemon and strawberry's mixed with milk and vanilla protein powder. I also make strawberry sorbet with just frozen strawberry's and a little bit of pomegranate juice (you could use water or another juice). I also make pancake batter in it by using: One Banana, one egg, 1/2 tsp of…

To be honest I am kinda looking at including it in a lot of my meals. For instance, I love green smoothies and I have one everyday (different times), I want to put protein powder into it. I also make banana pancakes a lot and they come out a lot nicer with protein powder to thicken up the banana/egg mix. I do not consider…

no no no no Stick with the scale, guessing usually always ends up being underestimated of what your actually eating. The entire pasta thing confuses so many people, I actually did not know it either until I joined mfp and saw tons of post on this. It confuses a lot of people at first, don't feel stupid or discouraged!

It is telling you the oz for dry pasta, not cooked.

I love these. I use one whole egg, one whole banana, 1/2 tsp of baking powder, 1/2 tsp of vanilla extract. They are a little hard to flip, so it is better to make them small. Don't need syrup with them either.

Please keep in mind that the heart rate monitor calculates gross calories burned, to figure out net calories burned you would have to take the heart rate calorie readings and then subtract what you would have burned naturally (take your bmr and figure out how much you burn per minute). You can also use this calculator to…

It could be you consider yourself "skinny fat" If that is the case, you need to eat your TDEE and focus on strength training to tone up.
-
So how much water should I be drinking then? :indifferent:

Will not effect weight loss, just maybe the variety of nutrients your body may get. It is easy to fall into a routine, just maybe try switching up a snack every couple days and a few times a week try something different for lunch or breakfast. Variety is the spice of life as they say.

I kinda like the hybrid method of using TDEE -20% but keeping the activity level as what you do minus exercise. Then still eating exercise calories back. However, I'm extremely inconsistent with how much I exercise every week and that is why I kinda like that method. I just keep track of my cardio calories burned with a…

I measure my food out and put it on my plate before I go sit down and enjoy dinner. However, I leave the food on the kitchen counter and basically eat dinner kinda like a buffet style thing. The food that is not on my plate stays on the counter. I actually had never heard of people actually bringing the food to the dinner…

I don't think "cheat days" help metabolism. I don't plan cheat days, however sometimes a special occasion occurs like a birthday or an event and I am not gonna bring my food scale with me and start weighing my food lol. Usually before and after the event I eat light meals and basically 'dedicate' a majority of my days…

You can lose weight eating whatever you want. If you have a calorie deficit each week, that alone will help you lose weight. What you eat determines how much nutrition your body gets. Examples of good carbs would be fruits and vegetables, and whole grain, examples of "bad" carbs by what your asking would be white bread,…

I eat whatever I want pretty much still that fits in with my macros. That being said, as I saw I was not getting enough fiber I incorporated more fruits, vegetables, and wholegrain (like shredded wheat with banana's. yum!). I don't get enough protein most days so I will probably start investing in a good protein powder,…

I'm not losing a pound a day or anything. However, I'm on my second week and my goal was 1 lb a week but I'm losing 2 pounds a week. I suspecting that the additional pound a week is water weight though. Kinda curious myself. ---- On a side note.....you work work out 4 hours a day, or did you mean 4x a week? Maybe you…

Theoretically, and the way myfitnesspal does it. Is for every pound you want to lose subtract 500 from the amount you burn daily. So for 1.5 pounds you would subtract 750 from what you burn everyday. So in theory you would eat 1,850 if your numbers are correct. However, another method would be to take your TDEE (2600) and…

I am not at a healthy weight, and I'm on my second week of mfp. My resting heart rate is 85ish. I'm hoping as I lose weight and get healthier it will go down.
-
My best advice to you is to ignore the predicition it gives you.

I'm new to mfp, so couple things frustrate me. I have a scale so weighing everything does not take much time, but at the same time I'm not used to just being able to grab what I want and eat it. Now I am careful to weigh everything out so I can record it properly, some days I'm into it, some days not so much. I also have…

Finally finding a green smoothie recipe that involves kale that does not make me absolutely gag. Its not the best smoothie in the world but I can finally have a way to eat kale and not want to spit it out.

I've heard up to 15%, and then I've heard 100 - 300 hundred calories more. I personally know I do get much hungrier on my period, but I still try my hardest not to go over. I typically just fill my body in with more protein and it helps keep me satisfied.

I see this a lot on these forums when this is asked, seems reasonable. Trimester ---- 1st: Maintanence 2nd: +.5 lb a week 3rd: +1 lb a week

I drink regular coca cola and record it accordingly, but I have a 20 oz bottle maybe once a week. I don't like diet anything but I love coke. However, it was really easy for me to make it a special occasion thing the first time I had to record it and saw how many of my calories and carbs it took over for the day. Don't get…

I just got my food scale this week and while part of my family went "that's actually a really great idea" the other half went "wtf, no, that's too time consuming, too obsessive, is BAD for you." Then they spew a bunch of crap about how you can't eat this or that and you have to basically starve yourself blah blah blah. I'm…

Its fine, a lot of people on myfitnesspal use diet sodas and the like to let themselves have something besides water but not take up their calories. As long as your not going over your net calories, and you are weight/measuring everything accurately, and your not overestimating calories burned, you will lose the weight.
-
I don't but I don't do them that often either. Plus, oftentimes I will only make a serving of something and everything gets measured out before I put it in the pot. The times I make a bigger serving of something for the family and I know I did taste test sometimes I add a few grams to account for blt's.

Your Diary is not open. If you want it open to the public, go to food -> settings -> (scroll to bottom) select public) -> save changes.

A really good quality apple cider vinegar has lots of potassium and I know my grandfather who is diabetic uses it to get is potassium up sometimes. However, many apple cider vinegars do not have that much. What eldamiano said is true though, a lot of entries on mfp are incomplete information. They put the bare min and…

There was another post like this the other day, I can't find it atm though. What I was reading is most women (myself included), gain 2-4 pounds of water weight starting several days before, and it goes away by the end of the period.
