I get up at 4:30, hit the treadmill by 5:00, usually for 60-90 mins. Shower, feed the animals, off to work by 8:00. I try to head to bed by 8:30 pm.

Sounds like my first month. I finally realized that my lifestyle this time of year is very sedentary. The only way I could get the scale to move was to consume less calories and exercise more. So, I work to stay at about 1200-1300 cals and added a few more miles to my walk each day. Slowly the scale is moving.
