  • Skinny Frozen Peanut Butter Pies Yield: 12 pies Ingredients ■12 reduced fat oreos ■4 ounces fat-free cream cheese (or low-fat) + 1 oz ■1/2 cup fat-free sweetened condensed milk ■1/3 cup peanut butter (I use Skippy Naturals, you can use reduced-fat peanut butter if you wish) ■1 1/2 cups Cool Whip Free (or you can use…
  • Why would I have them set it to 600 when I have really been working on bettering myself for 130?
  • A personal message to myself? What to ask myself how to do something I don't know how to do? I just can't see myself responding with anything overly helpful....
  • So I could remember I was in vegas for the the 4 days. If I gained weight or what not looking back I could remember why. Also, i thought it would prevent the whole counter issue period. I just missed one day due to crazy airplanes.
  • Why the heck do you care!!!!! I seriously cant comprehend why so many people feel the need to be so rude. We are all here for the same reason and wether you agree with my choices or not its working for me. I have explained several times throughout the thread why I wanted it reset, but I shouldn't even have to do that. Its…
  • Its not lying to myself because as I have stated several times on this thread, I use that counter as a way of keeping track of of the days since I started making healthier choices. I am not looking for any "credit". Am I unaware of something that everyone else knows? Can you like cash in or something? If it matters to me,…
  • Wrong! I can! Someone was kind enough to private message me instructions. She didn't want to get **** on here for actually being helpful!
  • MFP is a tool for me to use however I can to best motivate me to lose weight and be heallthy. Like I said to a PP, if you didn't want to help me why even post. I wasn't looking for advice on resetting or not. I just wanted to know how to do it.
  • The streak does nothing for anyone but me! Like I said before I use that number not as a logging streak but as a way to count the days since I started making healthier choices. I don't see why you felt the need to even comment on my thread if you didn't want to help me. I wasn't asking if I should reset it or not, I was…
  • Wow! I dont even know how to respond. I hope you all feel much better about yourselves. Not that I even need to explain myself, but for me that number represents the number of days since I decided to make healthier choices. I have logged diligently everyday with the exception of the 4 days I was in Vegas. Even then, I…
  • I wish I could turn it off. I don't need my phone throwing it in my face that I am over my carbs or fat lol. I already have the little angel sitting on my shoulder for that. I know that I shouldn't have so many carb heavy days, but I am still losing weight so I am happy. And for the most part they are all good carbs (fruit…
  • I think this is fine! There are actually people who do this routinely to maintain. They will eat 100-200 calories less through out the week so they can relax a little and enjoy on the weekends. Another idea is to earn back some exercise calories. Again, sometimes ppl will "bank" exercise calories if they are planning a for…
  • I find I often hit a "new low" 2-3 days after splurging a little. I obviously don't let it happen often (just special occasions like holidays) but it is a good reset for my mind/ body, Relax, enjoy, have fun with your family. Remember you are not going to gain a pound of fat in 2 days.
  • Frozen skinny peanut butter pie!
  • THIS!!!!! I have only been on this site a few months and these "starvation mode" posters drive me absolutely bonkers!
  • Awesome article! I think every single person who posts on here complaing " I'm doing everything right, exercising all the time...and still not losing weight" (you know the type) should be forced to read this over and over and over again until they have a true understanding of this article.
  • This is nowhere near enough calories! I reccommend you eat the calorie goals MFP sets for you.
  • I would focus more on exercise to get the body shape you are looking for. You are already at a healthy weight so try some strength training and moderate cardio. Adding a small amount of muscle can really improve your shape "bikini body".
  • That is what I ended up doing, and I can see how for somethings like a piece of chicken or a salad.... how you could get pretty close. But with something like this where there are a ton of ingredients all blended together, I feel like I am just pulling the nutritional value out of the dark. THere were entries in MFP for a…
  • I really wish it was socially acceptable to bring a food scale and measuring cups to dinner! And to harrass the cooking staff for their methods of cooking. " Hey there... great food..... so how much oil did you put in my rice? " LOL I feel like even though I can ball park that I about about 2/3 of a cup of rice. I could…
  • I have new foods that I look forward to on my splurge days! Cashews and extra peanutbutter! I know they are healthy but I don't eat them oftern because they are so calorie dense.
  • Thanks for the helpful info. I typically do my workouts after work (around 5:30) I'm really not a morning person so this is the routine that works best for me. I would say that I do low - moderate intensity cardio (45 min - 1 hr) and sometimes 20-30 min of strength training. Would your reccommendation be to avoid a mid…
  • But does it effect the efficiency of a workout, or does it not matter because ultimately i'm still at a deficit?
  • OMG frozen pineapple! It's the greatest thing ever.
  • I don't understand why eating healthy and going to the gym should cause you to lose muscle. I can understand if i was eating all crap (but still at a deficit) and not going to the gym, then yeah..... But thats not the case here. I am also not talking about temporary weight flucuations. This is more of the general trend.
