  • I have an EatSmart scale as well. It's just a basic scale..no body fat percentage, no water weight, etc.
  • I have had a trainer for over a year now and have lost almost 100 pounds. I am 5'2" and was 344.6 when I started. My trainer does work at a private gym so the price isn't as expensive. I do pay monthly and the average cost for year's worth of sessions (3x a week) is about $22.00. My sessions are an average of 45-55 mins.…
  • I always have two jars of coconut oil-one for hair and skin and the other cooking. As for cooking, I add it sweet potatoes, smoothies, toast, oatmeal, and whatever else I think will taste good with a little coconut oil!
  • I wonder how many people will understand the Baby Jessica reference?!?
  • I agree!! Burpees are the devil's exercise along with Jacob's Ladder!
  • Some days I do have slower days but for the most part, I drink at least 15. I also have OCD-like tendencies so everything with my fitness is on some sort of schedule!!
  • I consume between 15-18 glasses a day. I have 3 with my morning workout (6AM-7AM). Another 3 (with a protein mix) while I am getting ready for work and duirng breakfast (7AM-9:30AM). I drink another 6 by 5:30PM and another 3 during my evening workout (6PM-7PM). I may consume 1-3 more glasses after that. I do average about…
  • I saw that show foe the first time a few weeks ago...those cats are out of control!! Another show I got hooked on is INFESTED. It comes on A&E, AP...one of those stations!
  • Check their website for nutritional info.
  • Sunday--Zumba or elliptical for an hour Monday-Thursday-strength training (AM); water aerobics (PM) Friday-strength training (AM); may work out in the evening Saturday-water aerobics Right now, I do have two personal trainers. One of my trainers is part of a 12-week group exercise class. Once the 12 weeks is over, I will…
  • You can eat out, you just need to make good choices. For instance, I cannot go to a buffet..I will go over board!! I will get steamed rice over fried rice or fruit instead of ice cream. On another note, I have finally learned to stop feeling guilty over a bad meal. I did read on here a while back that if you mess up on one…
  • I go thru thhe same thing....hiding the seatbelt with my jacket, seatbelt extender, etc.! I currently have a pic of an airplane seat taped to my cell phone as a reminder of my upcoming trip to South America....I really don't want to have to buy two plane tickets! Congratulations!
  • I want to purchase only one plane ticket for my trip to Brazil next year.
  • I have always been a morning person so getting up is easy for me. I also have commitments in the morning that force me to get up. I work out with a trainer three days a week at 6AM and do a group deep water aerobics class at 6:30 the other two days. On the weekends, I do not get up as early but I do have my workout…
  • Try water aerobics at your local Y, gym, or aquatic center. I have lost almost 80 lbs (I was almost 350 lbs) by doing mostly water aerobics.
  • I tried to avoid sauces whenever I can--I can go overboard at times! Instead, I make my own pico de gallo or salsa verde to accompany my meals.
  • I thought I was the only one who pretty much ate the same thing everyday!! If I had more time, I would probably add variety. Right now, I do not have the time to really create/research meals that will be within in my calorie goal. I have found a few quick and easy recipes that I would like to incorporate--I just have to go…
  • I now have about an inch and half space between my thigh and the steering wheel. Before I started this journey, I had about a half inch space.
  • I enjoy wearing my seatbelt since I have more room in it now!
  • Add urbandictionary.com to your favorites--that's how I stay up-to-date!!
  • I agree with everyone else--trash and donate. I trashed all of my worn clothes and donated the good clothes to a church that has a community outreach program. People have asked me if I was going to keep an article of clothing..and for what?!? I have plenty of pictures and memories to remind me of how big I was--I don't…
