Also, remember on race day your adreneline will be pumping so you will probably have a fast time than the pace you are keeping now. I know that is usually how it works for my races. Good luck!

Isn't that the truth! lol I think sometimes my boyfriend forgets I'm a foot and a half shorter than him. He makes all these great meals, sometimes it's hard to have only one serving. I basically had to sit him down and say...Listen the food is great, but this isn't working for me. He's very supportive so we just changed…

I've noticed this week that I have learned how to control my emotional eating. It feels wonderful!

Don't worry. All will come in time. I've had to learn to be very patient with my journey. I think the best thing I did was set mini 5 lbs goals so the end result didn't see to daunting. Keep up the great work!

Hi! I would like to join this challenge. I've seen this challenge the past few months, but haven't joined for some reason. So no time like the present!! Yay! I would like to set my goal at 50 miles for the month of August. I hoping though that I can exceed that.

I also started running this year for the first time. There are a couple of things that have really helped me in my journey. First, I decided I wanted to do a 5k. So my best friend, who is an avid runner, helped me start training. I had extremely bad shin splints so Bengay became my best friend and I learned to run through…

I am so proud of you Jo! I'm so glad we get to take our journey together. There is truly no one else I would rather do it with! Pedi's here we come. :)

I love my kettlebell too. I workout with a trainer and I always feel the workout more when we use kettlebells. I just got my own for home. I got the Bob Harper one from Target. It comes with a 30 minute dvd too. Have fun! It's a little awkward at first, but you'll grow to love it.

I would also like to participate. I usually workout after work so this will help me get more motivated to get up in the mornings. Plus, give me extra calorie burn for the day. Yay!
