To anyone who may have an issue with what I said...I was not telling her to eat under 1200 calories. I was simply stating what works for one person may not work for another. I know people who have found great success meeting their goals eating back calories from exercise, while I on the other hand have not found success…

Excuse me...I am a certified personal trainer and wellness coach. Tell me what was horrible about this? This is a discussion, so back up your "horrible advice" statement please.
-
This is a totally subjective question. Some people find good results when they eat their exercise calories back while other like myself, find it best not to eat back exercise calories and stick to their daily goal. That being said eat your 1200 calories, if you consistently go under your daily goal your body may go into…

Everyone has their own opinion about weight loss. What works for one person may not necessarily work for another. There are many factors that make up how a person will react to calorie deficits or exercise. Macros are important, but it depends on what your goals are. Right now I'm toning and trying to shed a layer (lol).…

I agree with Najay. A heart rate monitor is the only way to get a true calorie burn count. Machines usually over estimated the amount you burn. MFP is usually a little closer to the actual amount, but an HRM is the way to go. They are relatively inexpensive now too.

I just got my Nike+ Sportwatch with GPS. I've been using with the hr monitor for indoor workouts. I can't wait for the weather to break so I can use it outside. Add me!! MichelleMurray84

Hi! I'm another 30 in 2014 on Sept 19th. I have been working hard over the last 3 years to get down to my goal weight. Last March I was 2 lbs away from my goal, but of course I slid right off the wagon. Since March I've gained 10 lbs. So I'm back at it. My goal for 30 is to be at my goal weight of 125. I know I can do it,…

Just a quick note...Zija is not a diet. It is a supplement to a good diet (nutrition) and exercise. You will get nowhere if you think that this is a cure all. You need to change other aspects of your lifestyle as well for this to be successful.
-
To all that have a problem. I was NOT pushing Zija. I was simply replying to a question. I stated that it worked for me. It may not work for everyone else. That's that. I REALLY do not appreciate being ridiculed for this, especially when I know the terms of use for this site and was only trying to be helpful. I also stated…

I'm glad there has been some success posted other than my own. I do not sell this product, but I believe in it. :)
-
I can say honestly that I do not sell the stuff and it works! When I order it's from Amazon/eBay, so I'm usually not paying full price for anything. If you read my above posts, if you don't use this in conjunction with good diet and exercise you will fail and gain back you weight. I only use it as a supplement to my…

This is a fitting questions as my birthday is next Wednesday. I'm learning as I get older the my birthdays get less exciting. I do enjoy though that my 2 friends and I always make time for each others birthdays and plan some kind of celebration even if it's just a small one.

When I started MFP I was 176. I am now 130.7 and trying to lose my last 5 lbs.

I suggest using the whole line at first - smart mix, xm am and tea. There is xm pm and an energy form of the smart mix, but I have yet to really try them. When I start with this products these were not in line. I have about a week or so worth of the product I just need to figure out how to work them into what I'm already…
-
LOL I started with the drink mix and yes it does look gross, but I prefer the taste over the xm mix. I have that mix as a backup.

Thanks again ckay220! Thank you also tlc1126! I believe in each and every one of you! I know if I can do it, so can you. I went from a very lazy/sedentary lifestyle (I made every excuse in the book) to slowly incorporating exercise and a healthy diet. Now I have a very active, healthy and most importantly FUN lifestyle. I…

DLKeeble: Thank you for the kind comment! It's been all about accountability and dedication. I've slipped up a few times, but I know I cannot reach my goal without either of those ideals present. Also, to everyone, feel free to add me.

I am absolutely no a fan of Zumba. Maybe it was just the fitness instructor but I couldn't get into it. Plus, just as I would get a move down it would change, which is very frustrating. You are not alone in your dislike.

I am 5' even. I started MFP in Jan of 2011 at 176 lbs. At my heaviest I was about 185 lbs - as you can see in the picture below. I am now at 136.4 lbs. The below pictures were taken at around 138 lbs. I'm not quite at my goal weight, I have about 11 lbs to go.

I am totally in for this. I do a weekly weigh-in at work on Fridays. So my food habits over the weekend have gotten a little lax, because I think I have a week to make anything I may have gain up. I have to lose this mind frame. This will definitely help to keep me in line over the weekends. Plus, I have an out of town…

Thank you for putting that. I forgot to add that part in. That's always a plus in my book!

I highly recommend this product. I start using it at around 176 lbs. and I've lost almost 40 lbs. Yes, the mix looks like swamp water and the first couple times it takes getting used to, but just use a little extra water than they suggest. Like I said though you can max your results but incorporating a healthy diet and…

Hello all! I have pretty much lost all of my weight using Zija products along with a healthy diet and exercise. You shouldn't just take it and expect to lose weight, although you may lose a little. It's really about encompassing a whole healthy lifestyle. You will get the boost of energy and vitamins you need from it. I…
