Boobs first. Belly and legs last.

Not denying myself foods I like. Once or twice a week I drink a coke. Once or twice a week I eat chocolate. If I tried to deny myself those things, id end up sitting in the middle of the cookie/coke aisle covered in a sticky mess of mountain dew and chocolate. Cleanup on aisle Binge.

Never thought of using a broom when starting out. Thanks for the tip!

Same here. I use a chair to put one foot on when I'm doing a pull up. Still really hard, but atleast let's me get up there.

I dropped 7lbs in 2 weeks. I expect it to slow once the water weight etc is done coming off. I'm 5'6" sw: 246 so I am starting out pretty heavy.

I usually don't eat breakfast because I'm busy and not hungry in the mornings. I usually eat between 11am and 7pm. I don't plan it that way, just how my body prefers it. Didn't know there was a term for it or that people did it on purpose

This! So true for me.

Love this thread. Those last two .gifs are nuts

I felt way more guilty about eating food before I decided to start exercising and tracking calories. Before I would eat and eat and then feel so bad about how much I ate, like two orders of chili cheese fries from rallys, I can't even imagine how many calories that is. Now, I eat guilt free because I know I'm not eating an…

For the record, almost everyone in my family is either overweight or morbidly obese. So anything out of normal is looked as being wrong. For instance a few years ago I got down to 200lbs. When I told my family I wanted to get down to 145, most of them told me that was too skinny and unhealthy.

No to all of those. Well, sometimes planning takes some time but mostly because I haven't been weighing for very long so when I decide to make a new meal, I have to figure out serving sizes and math it all together (and even with a calculator I am terrible at math). We also try to plan our meals 2 weeks ahead of time…

Normally id say tell everyone its not your concern. However this Yeah fark that crazy lady. Don't be friends with crazy. Crazy is not good. Crazy will eventually turn on you.

My scale does Ounces, Pounds, Grams, and Kilograms. It goes up to 11lbs and has the tar button. I really love it when im making baked goods that require really precise measurements.

Right on! It happens sometimes. Just gotta shake it off and move forward and not be so hard on yourself.

Congrats! Your dr is the person to ask.

Welcome and feel free to add me. I've been exercising and tracking calories since Jan 9th. 106 pounds to lose originally, 7lbs down. Good luck to everyone!
-
None of my friends or family have ever said anything about my weight, except when I lose some and they compliment me. I think the questions are very rude and id probably tell that person to f off.

I felt the same way when I got my scale. I was really pleased at how much one serving of peas turned out to be, and only 60 calories. I eat a lot of peas now. Lol

I've got a yoga mat and blocks, a pullup bar that hangs in the door, and hand weights that go from 5, 14, 20 pounds. I take the bench from my dining room and use it for some exercises. We don't have room for any big equipment :( But I love what I've got. Id like to add a barbell and some more weights.

I've been there. I still can't exercise when my husband is in the room and I have to keep the blinds closed. Instead of thinking about how silly I must look, I try to focus on feeling the movement of my body and the flexing of muscles to make sure I'm really doing the movement properly. Focusing on my breathing helps too.…

Except mind and personality can't overcome the physical limitations weight can cause. Some people want to do physical activities that are very hard or impossible to do while over weight. Some people want to make their bodies stronger. Its not all just about looks, its about getting the most out of our bodies.

Another stay at home mom here. I'm on lvl 2 the 30 day shred. Love it! Haven't looked into her other workouts.
