My beloved is both my biggest supporter and biggest saboteur! He is totally on board with getting healthy and losing weight and eating and liking (at least not complaining) all the healthy things I fill the fridge with. I am currently an 8 - 10. At my peak fitness, I was a lean 2 - 4. I don't know if I will ever get back to the lean machine I was :laugh: but would love to be an in shape, healthy, size 6.

My "go to" snack is a handful of warm almonds! I just sprinkle them with a little bit of water and warm them up in the microwave. They smell wonderful!

I don't know about anyone else, but I am STARVING in the morning - hungry as soon as I get out of bed! I eat as soon as I'm done with my morning activities (shower, dressing, hair, getting lunches together). I usually throw together a smoothie, both with high protein and high carbs.

I recently started using Rice Protein Powder (to rule out an allergy to dairy). Tastes gritty, but mixed with the right things (almond milk, fruit, Greek yogurt) its not bad. It's just rice protein - no artificial sweeteners, no nothing. Very low carb also.

When I do cardio (treadmill incline intervals) I *love* older hip hop dance! Nothing like working hard to The Humpty Dance, Baby Got Back, Good Vibrations, etc. :) When I do the weights and strength training I usually just watch TV.
