Yes, exactly. Well said.

I'm not engaging any further in this argument, because I think it's ludicrous to say there's no athleticism involved. However. I will say that I was rail-thin in high school, had muscled thighs, strong arms and great posture to boot because of horseback riding. It's not as hard on your body as say, gymnastics, but that's…

Oh, he!! no. You did not just say it takes little athleticism to horseback ride! Or even SOME! Do you have any idea how difficult it is to get your horse to perform that well and get all the necessary strides, or go the right pace, or be collected in just the right way? Not to mention how DANGEROUS? I know a girl that just…

10. What? I work hard, I'm fit, I'm gorgeous, and I'm all around pretty pleased with my appearance.
-
My advice? Don't listen to the advice on here. Too many opinions, too many people who think they know all the things about diet and fitness.

Eat breakfast. Your body hasn't eaten for 10-12 hours and it needs nourishment. You'll be more aware and awake, and you'll be less likely to overeat at lunch and dinner.

For me: long distance runners. Toned and tiny! For my ideal life partner: Male. Swimmers. They have the perfect bodies. Lean, muscled, broad shoulders, GREAT abs, usually tall... mmhmm.

I was a competitive hunter jumper for most of my childhood/adolescence! Quit when I went to college, but my jumper's still munching grass in my backyard. His back is sloped and his belly's a little rounder now though. :)

I spy a RENT fan! I had such a crush on Adam Pascal, oh, my goodness. I saw him reprise his role a few years ago, too. :D As for what I like, I can't get over Phelps right now. Been rooting for him for 12 years and he's STILL got the most banging body of anyone EVER.

I'm 5'5. I sit most comfortably at 135, but with exercise and watching what I eat, I'm a fit, slender 123. I also tend to hold weight in the middle, so I'm fighting for that ultimate goal--flat stomach--and that determines my GW. Currently lifting to build up muscle, so if the scale inches up, but my body gets sculpted, I…

Well, first, you look EXCELLENT! I would even say I don't think you need to lose anymore. I think it's less about what you actually see and more about how you feel about yourself. I don't think you should work on forcing yourself to see your body differently so much as building up your self-esteem. Go shopping and buy…

Unsurprisingly, gymnastics, swimming and track. But I pretty much get excited about ALL Olympic sports. There's just something so amazing about rooting for these incredibly talented people who are representing your country.

I'll reply to OP too, but I just had to reply to this as well! I was so saddened when I read your story, and I think you're GORGEOUS! I can't believe the people who were supposed to support you treated you that way. You found a husband that sees all the RIGHT things, though, and that's awesome! OP, I was saddened by your…

True, I don't think so either. I think OP probably meant fit, normal-sized girl versus naturally very thin girl. Option B's still gotta be a size 0-2.
-
:noway: Fit girl is STUNNING.

I think that often stems from jealousy, and probably those people are frustrated because looking like that is so hard to acheive yet is considered beautiful by society. It's like how most people will pick on a really pretty girl--will sincerely TRY to find reasons to hate her. I've witnessed it and (shamefully) partcipated…

The Remains of the Day, Kazuo Ishiguro. :)

All of that was really only around 700? Whoa. That said, it's not GOOD for your body because it's salty and fatty and not prepared well, but it won't kill your progress as long as you keep to your calorie count. I haven't had fast food in awhile, mostly because I'm used to eating smaller meals and I would feel heavy and…

My dad told me I was "skinny like those girls on the TV." Though I'm not entirely sure he was complimenting me, haha.

I pay $30/month for Lifestyle Family Fitness, which was just bought out by LA Fitness. Definitely worth it, in my opinion. I love going to the gym; it really puts me in the right mood to work out. I also like being able to get out of the house for awhile.

I'm American. I eat whole wheat and whole grains, I stay away from mayo, and I don't eat fast food. I'm thin and quite fit. Quit generalizing.
-
Your results are great, but I have to go with the picture of you and your handsome hubby at your wedding. Gorgeous! :)

Stop eating big dinners and snacks. Seriously, there's no trick to this. You have to know that losing weight is what you want, and you have to tell yourself to stick to it. It will never happen if you don't keep to the program.
-
Nothin'--there's no spot training! Your body decides where it comes off, so just keep losing until it's done with the waist and moves to the upper body.
-
I don't think eating exercise calories back is your problem--I think it's your daily calorie goal. That's pretty high, especially for the goal you're trying to reach. What are you diary settings?
-
Hey, Robin! It says you joined in June--that's not so long ago! Sometimes results are slow at first; I know mine always are. I've gotten back into shape a few times, and the beginning is always tough and it seems like there's no progress because you see the same body in the mirror. But the most important thing is to KEEP…

This isn't the first time I've heard of people being offended. What's more, I still see people are reacting with disdain bordering on hostility for the admittedly sensitive individual who didn't want her weight pointed out. When people get offended, I think what people react to is the idea that they didn't look attractive…

Except it asks you both activity level AND how often you plan on excerising, meaning it wants to know how active you are just in your dailty life. And it's also BUILT INTO MyFitnessPal to eat back your exercise calories.

There's a guy who always groans and moans like he's doing naughty things when lifting weights. I'm not talking the usual workout grunts that are somewhat loud for the person next to you but don't really affect anyone else--everyone does those. I'm talking loud, obnoxious, AHHHHHHHHHH's that take over the whole gym for a…

Haha, where are your images located? They have to be uploaded to a public site to have an image link.
