  • I'm a creature of habit. Either granola and low fat greek yogurt. or some scrambled/boiled eggs with toast. But am gonna keep an eye on these ideas as I also take mine and eat at work.
  • That Dr in Iraq has been emailing my husband too !
  • I was definitely thinking more along the lines of friut, veg and water for 3 or 4 days. Rather than a checmical or herbal cleanse detox.
  • Hi, I've lurked on this post on and off for ages but am determined to actually post more. Bit late for a challenge for this month but I'll def post one next month. Lee- I'm interested in your detox. What did you do ?
  • ooops posted twice !
  • Honestly.....nope. I've given up and not eaten a lot of things since I started my journey in February. And even now everyone of them, chocolate, chips, fries, beer, I could go on and on. Anyway they all taste amazing. I don't want to eat them all the time anymore. Or in the quantities that I used to. but a little bite now…
  • I only did half the recipe to see how it went down with husband and toddler. I used Turkey mince asI thought this would be lower fat. Took forever to cook. I had them in the oven for over an hour and still not convinced cooked through. Had to feed my toddler an emergency dinner as he couldn't wait. Hubby and I liked them…
  • I bought all the stuff and have looked out my muffin tin. Don't make a lot of meatloaf (not that popular in UK) so quite looking forward to trying these.
  • My son is 20 months too and will eat plenty of fruit. Just no veg. Although like someone else said I offer it to him most nights in the hope that he will try some. Does she feed herself ? With meat he is pretty fussy. If I gave him some chicken, pork, beef with potatoes and veg he would ignore it. But I make meatballs to…
  • Really inspiring. thanks. I want that to be me.
  • Seroiusly well done. You look fab.
  • How appropriate that this thread has been bumped up. I bought an avocado yesterday and trying to decide what to do with it. some good suggestions on here. And will be leaving the pit in so it lasts for more than one day.
  • I'd count it. Usually always try to pee etc before weighing !
  • Breakfast - 50g mix of fruit and fibre and meusli with 70ml skimmed milk snack - Alpen light choc and fudge bar and Skinny latte. Lunch - WW chicken noodle soup and large salad Snack - Apple Dinner - homemade fish pie, followed by Cadbury's light choc mousse and I should have enough for a mini choc and Vanilla Twister ice…
  • I love the idea of rhubarb cooked in diet 7Up. I'm definantly trying that. And I'm going to freeze a couple of milky ways and curly wurlys this weekend to satisy my sweet tooth. A couple of other things I thought of Boots Shapers red Thai chicken wrap is only 235cals. So a good choice if you want a sandwich but don't want…
  • Fab thread and I will be keeping an eye out for hints and tips. Ryveta crackerbread. only 18cals a slice and nice with a little extra light cream cheese and salad Marks and spencer thai beef to chicken dipping wraps - 5 for 50cals. Expensive but a lush low cal treat. Quavers/Wotsits/Skips any one for under 100cals My…
  • Agree with all comments. I'm in UK and have spent quite a lot of time in US. Jsut remember if having an hotel breakfast you won't even get offered french toats, maple syrup etc So you can easily choose fresh fruit, poached eggs etc. If you go for Indian have tomato based curry and not cream based. Some chain restaurnats…
  • Really ? Could I use diet coke or Dr P zero ? In UK pulled pork isn't a regular on weekly menu but I want to try it. From reading other posts I assumed you had to cook in the bbq sauce ?
  • Thanks for all the advice. I've brought an avocado and some salad with me to work today. I have plety calories in my allowance today but I'm only planning on eating half. x
  • I weigh in on the scales 1st thing Monday morning. That way I stay pretty focussed for the whole weekend. If I've been good through the week I try not to wreck it all Sat/Sun and suffer for it Monday morning weigh in.
  • I'm a bit rubbish as I dip in and out, and lurk on the UK thread and never post. But I'm in Edinburgh. Bank holiday weekend = too much food and drink so I'm trying to be super good this week to make up for it. Have a friends Hen night in a few weeks so that's my next target. I've been inspired by some of the recipes and…
  • Bumping cos I'm going to attempt this as my 2nd ever meal made in crock pot (in UK slow cooker isn't as popular as in US). WIll get ingredients and add to my weekly meal plan.
  • For shop bought treats I have cadbury's light chocolate mouse 60cals Walls mini choc Twister ice cream 40cals Dark chocolate 2 finger kitkat 106cals Homemade I make mini muffins with blueberries and vanilla, or raspberry and white choc chips. • Normally a big mug of strong tea. But been trying to get into Green tea, it's just not quite the same !
  • Good for you Kenny. You're just showing off with the push ups !!
  • I try to be as accurate as possible. But I don't count the nibbles and wee tastes etc. Or sugar free gum. Mostly I find that when I count a meal exactly I end up never clearing my plate and there is some left over so that makes up for the little nibbles. I do count it if a I make up a sauce and if I don't know exactly I…
