If your walking at a slow snails pace then no. You need to get your heart pumping a bit. I would say 3.8 - 4.0 would do it unless you are in super good shape.

I would think you're "hitting" on me if you come over and introduce yourself at the gym. It would be a different senerio if it was in the workforce or a neighbor.

I have read that many people increase their calorie intake after they reach a weigh loss plateau. They only do it for a few weeks to get their metabolism readjusted. After a few weeks go back to what you were orginally doing and the pounds start coming off again. So in your case you might want to eat 2500 calories a day…
