i talk about eating fried chicken a lot. so, i would say it would have to be fried chicken are my top 3. breast, wing & thigh.

(When I was a young girl & grandma was low on groceries) Me: "I'm hungry! What did you make?" Grandma: "bean & egg tacos" Me: "Gross, I don't want that" Grandma: "You are NOT hungry then" An hour later... Me: "Grandma, where are the tacos?" Grandma: "On the stove" Damn... I miss her bean & egg tacos.

your last 2 runs you felt this way? this has happened to me here & there. but, i don't pay too much attention to it because it's not very often. some running days just suck.

zumba. my gf talked me into trying it. i tried it twice. I felt super silly, twice.

i don't think i have really given up one thing. but, there are those that are difficult to eat/drink in moderation. beer, chips & dip, wings & fried chicken & waffles with endless mimosas.

yes. when running. i am hoping my pace improves come half marathon season.

i will not run in the cold unless i have signed up for a race that i can't back out of. so, as much as i would rather run outside, no thanks i won't do it. i use the same distractions music/tv. but, i will do intervals when that isn't working. 1 min fast, 2 min slow, etc.

i keeping asking my bf to help me out with donkey calf raises at the gym. he just won't do it. i keep telling him it will only feel awkward the first few times.

i know the feeling. some days i am motivated others not so much but i still do it. and, I can't remember a time that i walked away from the gym and felt like i completely wasted my time.

i think when starting out situations like this can seem difficult. but, once you learn how to enjoy the foods you loved in the past in moderation you will feel better. and you wont feel like everyone around is trying to sabotage your efforts because they are eating all these foods that you thought you couldn't have…

i love love this post, love the shoes, love that you shared this, thank you. i am always delighted to hear how running changes people & the impact it has. i think that's why i get so nerved when people talk negatively about running. i can only imagine the awesome memories you must have of your mom.

Is it just best to use "sedentary" when calculating TDEE then? i lift 6 days a week & cardio 4x. But, cardo is mostly jogging on the treadmill for 30 minutes.

if it's a street taco, it SHOULD be served on a small corn tortilla which has less calories than flour.
