  • I am in the same shoes. Hypothyroidism which is well-controlled, (actually just lowered my meds as I was in the hypo range) and just not losing. I eat 80% very healthy, rarely go over calories and when I do it's by a couple hundred cals, not huge binges. My weight is creeping up and I am so frustrated. I was recently…
  • First time doing this. Trying to get back on track. An anniversary trip coming up is motivating me to actually begin! SW: 192 Day/Weight/Comment 5/17 5/18 5/19 5/20 5/21 5/22 5/23 5/24 5/25 5/26

  • This is my current goal, too. I’ve done it before and it works. I also try to get a walk in every day, but honestly I haven’t lately. I’m struggling to stay on track with my calories - can we keep this thread going to help motivate each other?😄 Or motivate me, anyways.
  • My husband lost weight in WW after not losing weight any other way. About 20 lb in 3-4 months. I lost 25 lbs in 4 months. I cooked 100% from scratch, just used the point system. No need to buy their food. (I agree it's junk) The inlimited fruit was a lifesaver. Bananas and berries and apples all day long!! It basically…
  • Me too! I need friends - all my old friends have disappeared this time around! ;)
  • I have 4 kids plus I'm a foster mom, so usually another baby in the house. :)
  • Another mom here... Been off mfp for most of several years, but ready to lose some weight again! My goal is weight loss for now--eating healthier as I get some momentum going. :)
  • I have been all over the place with my weight too.. it worked SO WELL when I stuck with WW. I just keep comingback to that! I guess I need to stick with something. YOu aren't alone! :)
  • I was on here for 2 yeas, never lost more than 5 lbs. I joined WW 4 eeks ago, and have lost 8 lbs and feel like I could do it for life. I eat a ton more veggies, too. LOVE ww. I just keep my acc here to track my weight- cause it has my entire history. :)

  • One other thing - fruits and veggies are rarely the problem with weight issues. I mean, how many times have you eaten 10 bananas in a day, really?! And even super sweet things like grapes, mangoes, etc, are full of fiber. Pigging out on sweet fruit once in a while is still tons better than pigging out on ice cream, no?…
  • I am on my 3rd week of WW, and I LOVE IT!!! I have been a member here for a year or more, but I couldn't lose - my fault, not the fault of MFP. With WW, I feel like I'm out of prison, cause I don't have to track most fruits/veggies, and because of that, I can eat whenever I am hungry, and its wonderful. Of course…
  • I have joined Weight Watchers 2 weeks ago - loving it like crazy! I don't do 'low-fat', just eat less of the real stuff. Otherwise, its encouraged me to eat a ton more fruits/veggies. I have been amember on MFP for 2 years, and have never lost more than 2-3 lbs. (Which I will be the first to admit is my own fault - no…
  • You eat the whole bottle at one time?!?!?! Yikes! jk - it is def not clean, tho.
  • I used to do the Couch to 5K program. Made for beginners. But I got pregnant and never finished. Seemed doable, though. There's a website or you can download free apps that have prompts, etc. There's also C25K groups/topics on MFP.
  • Having spent time in a 3rd world country, the stuff she's doing (using multiple cleaners for the same job) sounds pretty familiar. The laundry/dish/hand soap is pretty similar, and they don't typically have toilet cleaners, cause, ya know, they have no toilets! (except in the city, of course) She might actually be…
  • When I saw the "198" on the hospital scale just days before giving birth back in Oct 12, I about fainted, and promised myself then and there that once the baby was here, this weight would go...along with the misc lbs picked up along the way with my previous 4 babies! Unfortunately, 2 months of bedrest with this pg left me…
  • I haven't been doing this long enough to see a difference, (one week?) but just set my cals to maintenance, and figure the extra 400-500 from BF will be my deficit. I get starving too, and thats why i don't set it lower, cause I have noticed my milk supply suffers if I don't eat plenty. This is my 5th time BFing so I can…
  • Sounds like me..except I will turn 32 next week. :noway: I also am a sahm of 4, and cook 3 meals a day for my cowboy husband, as well. Eeek. We both do T-Tapp, but I haven't done it for 3 weeks. So easy to fall off the wagon! I am also breastfeeding a former preemie, so i can't cut cals too much, but obviously I am eating…
  • www.T-Tapp.com Great 15-20 minute workout that tones your body, or one of her longer (30-45min) ones... She is a rehabilitative trainer, and developed her workouts based on what heals, etc. Its not easy - don't let the time fool you. Nothing is hard on joints.
  • I am 5'6" and 166 lbs. I started at 170, and would like to be 145. I was 145 when I got married (11.5 yrs ago!) and thought I was perfect then. I am doing T-Tapp to tone. (sorta like Pilates)
  • lol!
  • what creatures?!?!?!?! I am scared now!
  • This.^^ I quit using wheat 5 weeks ago in support of my husband who can't have it - and no withdrawal, no weightloss, no tummy slimming - NOTHING. I was SUCH a bread junkie before, too!! I am convinced that unless you are celiac, it is not necessary to stop eating wheat. The self-control, now - thats my problem!!…
  • I am not celiac, but my husband recently has cut out gluten (wheat) and so to make life easier, I have been gluten free with him for 5 weeks. Didn't reduce weight, bloat, or have any other benefit that I can tell. It simply isn't a problem for me, and i suspect the same for lots of others. I was hoping it would reduce the…
  • I recently got into T-Tapp. There's alot of testimonials as to toning, and its a short workout you can do in your own home. I like it so far.
  • I love this idea!!! 1. I love that my husband is devoted to our marriage. He thinks its worth sacrificing for. 2. I love that my husband is an encourager. 3. I love that my husband is a MAN. Not a touchy-feely ladies man. 4. I like that he would rather spend time with me than his buddies, except for occasional…
  • plain cooked oatmeal...yick. (put some brown suger on that stuff!:flowerforyou: ) lima or butter beans tofu and sushi is on the short list of foods I won't even try.
  • 1. eat when you feel hunger - stop when full. (not stuffed) 2. Drink when you feel thirsty - stop when your thirst is quenched. (not floating away) 3. Shut down this site. Thats my story and I'm stickin to it. :drinker: :flowerforyou:   :drinker:
