I will probably message my doc and get a referral asap. I feel like crap today. Zero energy, headache, and I know my bp is up. Gross as it is, I'm not "regular" either, which also plays havoc with my feeling badly. Something isn't right and I'm not sure what to do about it other than go to a specialist. Ugh! I'm so sick of…

I think I simply haven't pushed enough to test specifically for that. My GPs have always only test TSH, T3 and T4. Only recently they started checking my vit D. I just think that knowing whether I do or don't have hashis will help ease my mind and will aid in treatment. I am very aware of how I feel. I tend to over analyze…

I've had an ultrasound which showed some enlarging. If it proves I do have hashis....is there different treatment for it?

I was beginning to say I was not going to post anything, but you are closer to me, so now I can. :) CW: 182 (5'6") Size 16 jeans I don't have all of my measurements memorized lol, but this is a start. (I do have measurements recorded and have already gone down 5.5 inches. :))

Mine are 5 lbs. , but I can't do everything with 5 lbs. I have no upper body strength. Well, it's better than before I started, but I'm not "there" yet.

How do you tell the difference between hypothyroid and hashimotos? I'm very concerned about what's been going on the last few years with mine.
-
Thanks. I looked at those a little bit. I don't want to do anything that is going to not help me.
-
Feel free.

BEST POST I'VE READ YET ON HYPOTHYROID. I too am hypothyroid and it can be stressful. Do your research and listen to your body. You'll begin to recognize when there is the slightest change in the way you feel. Find a doc who isn't afraid of an educated patient. I usually take a journal/note pad in with me just to make sure…

I'm kind of in a similar situation. I have psoriatic arthritis, which sucks lol. I do the jumping jacks, but I do modifications with butt kicks (sort of a high knee type thing) and modified jumping rope as my knees and hip can't take that right now. I've noticed a huge difference in weight loss and inches lost in the last…

I've been doing level 1 for about 2 1/2 weeks. I am not counting Day # at all - just working out. I've lost 8 pounds and 5 inches all around in the last 2 1/2 weeks. I think it's awesome, but I do have to modify a couple of exercises due to arthritis issues, but I'm amazed at my energy levels.

Thanks

I didn't think you were being unkind.

Yes Sharon. I had a similar experience. I once had a doctor who told my husband I was just stressed out but they would check the thyroid just to make me feel better about it. Lo and behold, they discovered my TSH was 10!!! Needless to say, I never went back to him. :))

Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred. You can find it on you tube. She combine cardio and strength training. I'm only a little over a week into it, but I feel a lot better. Check it out.

I agree. After 43 years of not really sticking with any type of exercise, I have to build up my endurance. I know that I am increasing in strength and endurance. Due to arthritis, I am modifying a couple of exercises in the routine, but I'm so amazed at how strong I feel. Good luck to anyone doing the 30 DS.

Wow!

You look fabulous!

Tthanks so much everyone. It helps to know others are there. Right now I feel like crap and wonder about hashimotos as I'm on a roller coaster. My last lab TSH was 3. I think that's still too high for me.

I'm 43 and have about 50 pounds to lose.
-
It shot my blood pressure up in a crazy way. I had a lot of anxiety. i quit taking it.
-
Is there anyone who only did 30 DS and found success? I just don't have enough time or energy right now to add more to it. This 30 ds alone is kicking my butt.
-
Thanks, I needed that.

Thanks everyone. Don't be surprised to get a friend request from me at some point. You've all been very positive. Have a great day!

thanks to those who were genuinely trying to help out. Others - oh well. Unless you walk a mile in one's shoes, you would not/could not understand. Thanks again for the info.

I enjoy walking with my ipod but I have been so unmotivated lately...
