You do look super healthy and strong (and young!) especially compared to the before pics!
-
That sounds awesome...brownies are so good!
-
I like chewy! I will add those to the list!

Thanks! I know I've had a Cliff Bar in the past and liked it so I'll definitely check that out.
-
I might do that...I usually prepare lunch meals in advance because I'm so busy during the day and it's not like I can eat out due to food allergies. So I guess I could just do a smaller portion for the morning snack!

Definitely! It sounds like we are in a very similar situation :) I'm trying to get used to the idea that my stomach will never be exactly how I want it. I think I can make it look a lot better though.

I live in Madison. I don't usually mind the cold....we went to that same Packers game and THAT was freaking cold LOL! My foot warmers didn't seem to do anything :/ Other than that we were fine. Oh except that my drink froze before my very eyes!

Bull****. I got the Depo shot when I was 16, had always been slim and athletic. Gained THIRTY POUNDS in the three months I was on it. Also had tons of other hellish symptoms. It's not worth putting that kind of poison in your body, especially if you have no idea how you'll react to it and it's not like you can just...stop…

I can only hope my husband does...I only have 15 lbs to lose and he has a LOT.
-
Wow, you should be so proud of yourself, congratulations and enjoy the fruits of all your hard work!
-
Thank you!

For those of you who do lift, do you go to the gym 3x a week or more than that?
-
There are quite a few women at my gym who do free weights too. Not as many as the guys, maybe like 25/75. The rest are on the treadmill, elliptical or stairmaster for HOURS! I won't judge someone for how they want to exercise but I personally would be so miserable if I did that :(
-
Thank you for posting this! I will say that my "fear" of doing free weights is not so much because mostly men are over there (I was in the Marines for 5 years!) but that I am the biggest klutz in the world and I can injure myself doing just about anything lol. I used my "intro" personal training session to have the guy…

You look great! Wear that swimsuit with confidence!
-
Probably no weight because the skin on my stomach is all stretched out from having kids and I hate it!
-
Yes, you need to eat more calories than the average woman (I think it's an extra 500 per day?) and also drink TONS of water. I was in the Marines for 5 years and I breastfed/pumped while working out on a daily basis and running a LOT. Not by choice mind you lol. But yes you do need to make sure to eat and drink enough…

Losing 40 lbs by May does not honestly sound like the best idea to me. I'm assuming you have some kind of event in May that you want to look good for...and I totally understand that! But what do you want to do more, work on losing the weight for good, or lose it in an unhealthy way but gain it right back?
-
I feel good and I think I look good in a size 8. I feel fat in a size 10. I guess a 6 would be okay too lol!
-
Holy crap you don't even look like the same person! Congratulations on all your weight loss!

I'm 5'7 and I feel pretty great at 155! I am pretty muscular and have big boobs though (did you know those things can weigh a ton!?) I think it definitely depends on the individual.
