  • I like this quote. :)
  • Snap! I've lost so much weight but only gone down a couple of clothes sizes on the bottom half. My thighs are still wobbly and my hips are still wide. I've started doing squats and lunges but have problem knees that grate and creak. Any suggestions for other lower body but knee friendly exercises??
  • Bump. Wow you ladies make me want to keep at this! Congrats on all your before and afters. AMAZING!
  • Congratulations on all your hard work, amazing progress and fantastic results. I literally got the book before the weekend and start Day 0ne tonight. What an inspiration!
  • When I first started on here I felt the same way. I started drinking a lot of water and my clothes didn't feel so tight around my tummy area. I didn't realise how much I was affected by water retention. If I get a bit slack with my water I start to gain around the middle but I know how to stop it. Well done on an amazing…
  • I just weigh myself every Saturday morning regardless. Sadly I went from 167.4 to 170 this morning because of it. I just keep telling myself it will all be gone again next weigh in. :(
  • I been toying with getting up at 7am to do a workout before work as my social life is getting in the way of evening exercise. :s Will see how it goes. Was planning on eating breakfast after. Not sure if this is a good idea.
  • I don't have a phone that allows me to use the myfitnesspal app. I have to rely on my internet access which is only available at home. If I stay at my BF's house I don't have access. If I go fishing after work for the night I don't have access. When I house sit for friends they don't have internet so for two weeks I don't…
  • You can see such a big difference. Bet you feel amazing. Well done. x
  • Beakfast I normally have cereal like weetabix or shredded wheat with a banana or I have porridge. Lunchtime I have salad with tuna or a tortilla wrap with chicken breast and salad.
  • Not running but I tried cycling. Need less to say I didn't get far.
  • Found this useful post of 12 simple exercises. http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-srv/special/health/workout-at-work/ Thanks for your suggestions. Will spend the afternoon doing little reps of everything. :)
  • Now that's a good idea. Thank you. :)
  • They are my worse days. When my brain is bored and tries to convince me to eat. I normally hold out so long before I admit defeat. I wish I could give you an answer to this problem but I am yet to find one for myself. Normally water water and trying to keep my attention on something else works for a short while.
  • Weddings are a wonderful incentive to lose weight. I'm Bridesmaid in May 2012 and lost weight before my bridesmaid dress measurements were taken. losing weight is a bit easier if you have a goal to drive you and your son's wedding is a fantastic reason. A lb a week is healthy and easier to achieve so its great that already…
  • My work mate told me to put my baggy fleece on as I was looking to skinny. lol! And also I have been cycling more lately and the usual route I take I managed to do in 27 minutes this morning instead of 45. I'm getting faster, stronger and I have no need to get off and walk up the steeper hills. I was buzzing this morning.…
  • I'm willing to give this a go as I'm looking for a challenge to get me more active. I did 9 miles today so that's only 141 miles to go.
  • Ohhh I've been looking for a group to join. My diet has been a bit haphazard lately (although I haven't gained which is a result) and my exercise is almost next to none. Really need to slow lifes wheel down and make time for me. Hoping by joining a group you guys might make me more responsible. lol! I was also measured for…
  • Ice Cream especially Ben & Jerrys.
  • Wow you have done an amazing job. Congrats!
  • Oh my!!! I'm crying.
  • Congratulations on losing sooo much weight!! GO YOU!! Thats awesome. :drinker: Thanks for the article. Was an interesting read as a 30 something female. Lots of tips I will try to include in my diet.
  • YES you can do it. Just stick to what you are doing and you will be fine. Any walls you hit, someone will be able to give you advice and a push up over that wall. And what a great motivation you have. You can so do this! ;)
  • You will eventually. lol! I'm down to just morning and night now. My weight changes so much during the day it used to confuse me. I find it best to put it somewhere out the way so to weigh yourself you need to get it. Too tempting if its where you can see it and use it all day.
  • Welcome. I'm from the UK as well. Have lost 3 1/2 stone (50lb) since Jan 2011. Got another stone to go. Losing weigh has never been easier for me since joining here. Think I will struggle with maintaining though.
  • Me too! I only ever record my morning weight. I put it down to the 8hrs sleep I have with no water and no food. My body uses it all so I weigh less. Anyone know if this is right??
  • It wasn't until I started logging calories that I realised how many calories were in these drinks. Now I am a water, black coffee, green tea kinda gal with the odd glass of Coke Zero. If I am having a night out with friends I will always offer to be the driver or if I drink alcohol I try to do a workout then stick to rum…
  • I normally have my friends asking me how many calories are in the things they eat. Its like I am a walking calorie counter. lol! Its a great place to be. You'll pick up loads of handy tips and it help you track your progress. Feel free to add me.
  • Wow! You ladies have really been working hard. Congrats on all the weight lost and all the goals achieved. :drinker: I am 5ft 7in (was 5ft 8 but seem to have shrunk lol) and currently weigh 169 (Aug 2011) from 218 (Jan 2011). My goal weight has changed a lot since I started. As the weight has fallen off my goal has…
