  • It really doesn't matter what anyone else thinks, if you WANT to lose weight then do it for you. You control what you eat and what you do. Other peoples actions can make you weaker but learn to say no. There are plenty of people on here who will help, support and motivate you. Just reach out ......
  • I use Runkeeper for logging my runs and walks. I also have a fitbit Charge HR. While logging my activities both match each other on calories burnt but not distance.
  • Can add me on here plus I use fitbit. Add me on Fairyrajwa@gmail.com.
  • The more friends who are motivational the better. Have added you!
  • I find spreading my calories out during the day helps. I was a bad night time snacking but I find eating in a pyramid (big breakfast) then smaller meals every 3 hours until my last meal about 7pm helps a lot. If you still find late night snacking a big thing than just change what you are snacking. I have a Casein protein…
  • Hi! My name is also Jo but I'm a Josephine. lol!

  • Suffolk/Essex border. Feel free to add!
  • Yep from Suffolk. There are a load of us if you look hard enough. lol! Feel free to add.
  • What are your biggest frustrations with weight loss? What is constantly on your mind? How slow it takes to come off versus how quick it goes on. My biggest niggle at the moment is eating right, training hard but getting very little results. Other people can see the changes but being hard on myself, I can't. You need the…
  • Your hard work and dedication has paid off. You look amazing! Hopefully others will be inspired to pick up something heavier than a handbag (although the weight of mine could do a good bicep workout lol).
  • Can't help but feel like they were tying up loose ends as if that was it! Right until the end of course and then I thought just maybe..... Love the show, loved the books as well. I'm in the UK so have to watch the new eps on line. No way I'm waiting until its released here.
  • Haha spot on! Thundering and raining at the moment on my day off! Consoling myself with a mup of PG Tips! lol! I'm on the Suffolk/Essex border. :)

  • I've tried early morning and late evening but with no air con at my gym its tough going.
  • I'm guilty! Mental boredom is my downfall. If my brain is occupied then I am fine. I don't even think about food. But if my brain is bored, I just stuff food even though I'm not even hungry. I lost over 45lb and over the last year gained over half back just because of my emotional eating. No one else understands it really.…
  • I'm a Suffolk Girl. Been here a while but rarely post on the forum. Always looking for more UK based friends.
  • Will give the clamshells a try but will probably skip the fire hydrants. Anything involving kneeling on the knees themselves are a no no. Could try doing them on a pillow though. Thank you.
  • Funny you should say that but I lost my first 30lb by just walking to work and back everyday as my exercise. That is 30mins there and 30mins back. And the first Sunday of every month me and a few friends went walking for a few hours. I live in the country so our walks were fantastic and we stopped at a farm shop for coffee…
  • Losing the first 30lb made a big difference. I was able to run up and down the stairs but it was almost as if my body got used to the weight difference and the pain came back. Now I am down 45lb and still need to lose another 30lb so hopefully that will help a lot.
  • I can't actually swim that well so maybe that is something I could change. I'm hyperflexible in quite a few joints and have had opposing info on yoga. One specialist said it would be good for me, my physio said no because my joints move further than a normal person which could damage my joints more. I only go to a small…
  • Ok thank you for your advice. Will give them a try. They are slightly different then the ones they gave me and I have been doing mine for months. Maybe they need a change. :)
  • I've been doing cardio like treadmill, stairclimber and bike. This doesn't hurt but my knees while doing it but they are sore afterwards.
  • My form is good but to be able to do it pain(ish) free I have to place my feet at a 45 degree angle. My knees never go over my toes and my butt is pushed back. My knees and feet are not straight.. knock knee and pigeon toed!
  • Guessing there isn't any. Oh well!
  • I would like to know this too. Going to start Slim in 30 today. :)
  • I weigh in every Friday, first thing in the morning. I then log the result whether it is a gain or a loss.
  • I can relate. I lost weight, maintained weight, then started sliding down a very slippery slope by gaining a bit back. Have been trying to find the get up and go and commitment to start again. I think I am back in the zone although I do still eat the odd unhealthy thing. Sending you a friends request.
  • Added you. Always looking for more friends. Add away! :)
  • When at the ripe old age of 34 I couldn't walk up and down stairs. My knees would kill me!! Lost 40lb and I could run up stairs two at a time. Sadly the pain is catching up again but hoping to lose another 30lb and tone my leg muscles to help support my knees.
  • I can only dream of being that defined! You look amazing. Will sit down and have a read of all the info you listed. Recently started the gym so I have access to the tools I need. Thank you for the inspiration.:)
