Haha my brother just told me this and I was having difficulties imaging all the treadmills. How freaky!

I lost 45lb in 6 months and it was a breeze..... until I had to maintain my weight for a year to fit a bridesmaid dress. Since the wedding I just haven't been able to get back to losing in fact I've managed to gain 10lb since the beginning of August. I really would love to say its easy to get back on but its not but we…

I started March 2011, lost 45lb using mfp in about 4 months plus maintained it for almost a year also using mfp. Back to losing again now and although its a bit harder the second time round I'm hoping for the same success. Its not just the food and exercise diary that makes this work but the support you get from other MFP…

And there was me sitting here thinking I was the only one in this position. I lost 40lb+ and now I have fallen off the wagon and starting destroying all my hard work. Luckily I have a few friends on here who have pushed me back in the right direction. You can do this, you did it before!!

I was 218lb, currently 174lb hoping to lose another 20lb or so. Also looking for friends to help motivate me to keep with this as I have recently slumped. Have added you and ready to motivate!!

My sister just started losing weight and we have done a bit of exercise together. Maybe we should do some more. A workout buddy sounds like a good idea. :) My boyfriend is days away from finishing Insanity. He looks amazing and I'm really proud of him but sadly I really don't think I'm Insanity material yet. I got a nose…

I've made the first step of re-opening my diary. I was getting to embarrassed to have it open but hoping it will help. knowing people can check on me. Also switched from maintenance to losing a lb. Thanks for the request. Its nice to know I'm not alone in this.

Wow.... just wow! Your results are AMAZING! My friend Gemma did two years teaching in Korea and lost weight the first few months on noodles and noodles until she got over what the food was and actually ate it. Like you she took advantage of the cheap alcohol though. lol! My boyfriend has almost finished Insanity and his…

How young is young? lol! I'm 34 and hoping to lose around an other 30lbs. Feel free to add me if you like.

Just to day in fact. I was so hungry and all I had was a 20g box of rice krispies and my banana protein shake. I thought the two would go together..... but errrrrm no. The shake was lumpy and the krispies were stale. I still ate it anyway even though it was revolting. Cured my hunger by making me feel sick.

When I do my weekend sessions I burn LOADS of calories just pushing my barrow of gear around to my swim. My arms and shoulders kill for a few days. And when I go spinning for pike in the winter I walk miles along the river. I never log it though as most of the time I am just sitting down reading a book. :D

I tried doing it everyday and ended up taking a day off on Day 4. I could hardly walk up stairs or sit on the toilet. :D I did read a comment by Jillian (wish I could find it) where she says that 30 Day was never intended as 30 days straight. It was the marketing people who made it seem that way. I think she said 5 days a…

I used Microgynon 30 for over two years. In that time my weight steadily increased until I had gained almost 3 stone. My nurse was concerned and suggested I go to Slimming World. I was eligible for a 12 week course with them for free because of my weight gain. Instead I just came off the pill. I lost 35lb in the first few…

I hd trouble logging my bananas when I brought them fresh from the market. But then I got some from the supermarket and they had nutritional info on the bag. I now work out my bananas on that. It was 95 kcals - 100g. Hope that helps.

MFP is the only place I have ever lost weight and kept it off. I've been on maintenance almost a year now and haven't gained it back which shows I'm doing something right. Losing the weight last year was easy for me. My doctor suggested I lose the weight as my knees are bad and I couldn't climb stairs without pain. It…

I tried to pull myself up the other day thinking it would be easy. I couldn't even raise myself even a little bit. So to be able to pull yourself right up and hold for 5 secs..... you have my admiration. Well done!!

Ohhh who doesn't like a good shimmy or a camel! lol! I've never done classes but have books and dvds that I sometimes do at home. Me and my sister love it! We have quite a collection of hip scarves. lol! The music and the movements..... just watching your video I was swaying and moving my hips. I often find myself looking…

Just had a Banana Whey Protein with skimmed milk. Love my shakes! :)

Thank you Lee. I'll get him to log on when he gets home from work. I can just see a lovely evening of watching Insanity coming up. I can't remember the last time I saw him so determined. :)

That is a fantastic and motivating way to look at it. Your whole outlook can make or break your efforts. :) As of this minute I will also think of it that way.

What's your name? Josephine Where do you live? Suffolk, UK What are your food vices/ cheats? Salty, savoury foods are my weaknesses. I sometimes wish I like chocolate instead. What do you think is holding you back from being in your TOP shape? If I find something difficult I tend to tell myself I can't do it. So if I'm…

This! I recently came across this site from a post on here. Some great workouts and plans to follow. :) Or look into a book called 'New Rules of Lifting for Women'.

I grew up addicted to Roxette and Prince. The music just never ages to me. I also adore Darren Hayes and Michael Buble. The contents of my MP3 Player is pretty random though when played on shuffle. Just on my walk this morning I got ACDC, Jessica Simpson, Crowded House, Stone Sour, Savage Garden, Prince, Fergie, Neyo,…

I agree with everyone else. This really does work and you can get some really good support and advice to help you.

Everything I do is at home. The average gym membership is about £35 a month and I just don't have that. Plus the thought of working out in the weights room with men is a bit off putting. :s
-
Now THAT is the result of a lot of hard work. Congratulations. You are an inspiration to others. :)

I live in Suffolk. Done 7 weeks of stage one of NROLFW but have taken a break as my back and neck have been a bit poorly. Going to restart with the weights Monday. Even invested in a barbell/dumbbell set instead of just hand weights. Anyone feel free to add me. Be nice to have people to compare results and ideas with.

I started on here last year but had to maintain since August. Can finally get back on the weight loss journey on Monday. Would love more friends to help support them and maybe a few to help me get back down to it. :)
