  • Thanks to all. So far I had Smart Ones from Weight Watchers and Lean Cuisine. LC had a funny taste, (beef did not look tasty) and both had 700 milligrams of Sodium. Our daily intake should be limited to 1200 miligrams. I can feel the effects of too much sodium. I made my research and Amy's and Kashi had the lowest sodium.…

  • I agree with laceybrobie on weighing 3-4 times a week. It has worked for me. I am too a slow loser, and need constant reminder of how much I weigh; that makes me have more self-control during the day.
  • Sometimes we are depressed because of other non-weight related causes, have you considered menopause?, Your Dr. may be able to determine that. Also, look at the people around you...they may be giving you lots of negativity and you might not know it.
  • Based on your description, have you lost weight, I believe that if you have not lost weight, your body is holding to the weight and may need to eat more.

  • I was very good and lost 1-2 pounds, but then helped in a bake sale, and brought cookies, that I though would not eat them, but that was so wrong, I think I lost control and without knowing I gained all the weight back. CW 165 :grumble: I'll keep trying.

  • Just read the labels, many of those are just vitamins with loads of sugar and unknown substances. One friend told me that some carry the same stuff like in the swimming pools.
  • I was going throug the same, one day there was a sale at Macy's and bough a chef knife, It was so cool that I could cut all kinds of veggies. A good knife makes a difference.
