Oh good heavens - obviously I should have renamed this thread something else for those of you who take things a little too seriously... No, I do not believe our government is conspiring to make us all fat. The goal was to get you to read the article because I thought it was very interested and reinforced a lot of things a…

Brooks, hands down. I have wide feet and Brooks have a wider toe box than a lot of shoes.

I started out "running" (more of a wog: walk/jog combo) at almost 300#. I didn't do it, but C25K is an excellent program to start out on. The best piece of advice I can give you: go to a specialty running store and have them do a gait analysis and fit you for the right shoe. And expect to pay around $100 for a good pair.…

Like me, you live in MO - that's why you see overweight EMT's every day...

Seriously?? 1. It is NOT easier to gain for some - my husband tries HARD to gain weight and still can't hardly get above 170. 2. You will NOT gain muscle from eating chocolates and candies.... And I agree with everyone else...if you only weigh 175-ish (just assumed because 175 - 35 = 140) consult a doctor first. Trying to…

I'm gonna sit back and wait and see how long it takes for people to get all pissy and offended and get my thread locked... :drinker:

Truth! And Jill, did you even read the blog? And are you really going to trust a doctor or a nutritionist who's just quoting what the FDA says? The FDA is full of $h!+ and there are doctors out there who support HCG and phentermine and crap like that, too...why wouldn't a "credible" doctor support Body by Vi? Fad diets…

My beef with it is not that it makes people feel good - my issue with it is that it is marketed as a healthy product and IT'S NOT! They're deceptive and it's going to come back and bite them in the *kitten*. Go ahead and drink your synthetic feel good shakes...but in 20 years when all you Body by Vi enthusiasts have some…

I don't have a lawyer and if I did, and he told me to not talk about it, I'd tell him to kiss my *kitten*...

Thanks! :)

Why do you want to lengthen your stride? Keep it short and work on cadence!

Soy is not all bad - it's what they do to it that can make it bad for you. Yes, it's both demonized and praised in the Western culture, but generally speaking, the more natural (unprocessed) a food is, the better.
-
I took notice of the kettlebell, too! LOL!
-
Great nutrition??! You think 21 of 24 ingredients being synthetic is great?! Did you even read the blog? The point of this post was not to have people blindly defend Body by Vi because it "makes them feel good", but to actually read the blog and not just rely on the marketeers...since when is eating REAL food such a bad…

zumbagirl, simmer down...I'll be ticked if you get my thread locked...
-
I'm just waiting for the IRS to make BANK on all the unpaid income taxes...
You do realize that soy is in like...everything these days, right?
All the more reason to eat REAL, unprocessed, WHOLE foods!

Actually...Biggest Loser is VERY unhealthy! That coming from Patrick House when I met him and talked with him personally about how they lose all the weight on BL. They only eat about 800 calories/day and exercise for 6+ hours - they burn a lot of muscle with all that weight... They get away with it because they're heavily…
-
lol...that's one of the things that cracks me up about it...and the blogger actually touches on that, too! Mindless drones...

NOT posting this to start an argument, just wanted to share a BLOG I read today regarding Body by Vi. You hear all the good things about it, but rarely do you hear the truth - it really is just another fad diet, no matter HOW you market it...…
