I think it depends on the character you're cosplaying, but in any case, make sure to wear makeup! Photos really wash people out, especially us pale people! You need foundation, blush, the whole shebang, and especially mascara if you have light eyelashes.

That's my goal, too! I want to be in shape enough to go to the water park this year and not be embarrassed!
