Heartbreak, I tried dating again after being single for 3 years. The guy turned out to be a jerk and I decided to focus all the negative energy (sadness, anger) into working out. I got over the heartbreak in a few months but I didn't stop and kept going. I weigh less than I have in over a decade, I'm healthier, and I met a…

Left: 232, Right: 212 In late March I decided to get serious about weight loss and joined a local gym. I exercise daily, try to drink at least 10 glasses of water a day, and completely cut out fast food and soda. These are my results after 2 months and I hope to eventually lose 50 more pounds by the end of the year.

My mother went to a doctor that put her on the shots and she lost over 80 pounds. Then the shots became more expensive so she decided to do the drops which didn't work as well. She gained 40 pounds back but wants to go on the shots again, saying that the diet is healthy because a doctor put her on it. Yes, you will lose…

I have also slowly been making my way through most of the big films lists over the years (1001, AFI, TIME, etc). I have really been into Asian cinema the past couple of years and watched 250+ movies (mostly Korean, Japanese, Chinese, and Thai), here's a link to a list of my favorites: http://mydramalist.com/list/D45wqoLX

First of all, extremely jealous that you live in South Korea because I want to go very badly as it has become an obsession of mine over the past couple of years (love the food, culture, movies, tv shows, music, etc). I allow myself a cheat day every other week but I try not to go too crazy and stick near my caloric goal.
-
I am bit behind on any newer stuff because I have fallen in love with live-action Asian dramas over the past few years. Some of my favorite anime shows are Inuyasha, Death Note, Ouran High School Host Club, Romeo x Juliet, Sailor Moon, Hana Yori Dango, Ranma 1/2, Red Garden, and Elfen Lied.

Yes, I allow myself a cheat day once every 2 weeks to eat/drink things that I normally avoid (pizza, pasta, soda) I still log it whether or not it goes over my caloric daily goal. I don't look at it as a reward but just a treat since I don't indulge regularly.

I wasn't overweight until my I got sick and unhealthy eating combined with progressively lessening activity caused me to maintain that weight .

Everyone is different and has different eating habits developed over time. I did not get fat from over-eating, I gained a lot of weight in my early teens from an illness and never lost it. My eating habits have been highly unhealthy my whole life, both of my parents worked so they didn't cook-we ate fast food, take-out,…

Coming from someone who vomits regularly due to a severe ulcer, I highly warn against this - the enamel on your teeth will erode quite significantly and will be very expensive to fix as well as cause other long term health issues.

I've tried hcg but never again

Currently watching a lot of Taiwanese dramas that were added although I wish they would add more Asian dramas.

I watch anime, Asian tv shows/films (Korean, Japanese, Chinese, Thai) so I have watched a lot of subbed/dubbed content. I prefer sub for most things as any dubs I have had the misfortune to endure were badly done. Concerning anime, I have found a lot of shows with good dubbing but I still tend to watch a lot of anime…

Making all my own food and sticking to a meal plan makes it much easier. I do have cravings since my family eats fast food or take out each day, but the fact that I am actually starting to see results motivates me to stick to it.

4 days without fast food and doing fine, no cravings. I do have to go to a graduation out-of-town on Saturday so I may have to eat out but I will walk extra steps when I get back.

My 3rd day without fast food, I actually don't eat much fast food much anymore but my family does everyday (mother, father, brother). I grew up eating just fast food and simple food (turkey sandwiches, ramen, mac & cheese, canned tuna) because both of my parents were extremely busy. I am actually changing a lifetime of…
